Anyone starting on monday?

Because I'd love to virtually hold hands with someone at the same stage ad me. Ordered this morn and just got an email to say it'll be arriving Monday! Excited! Dunno what time yet so may have to fill up on water and coke zero for a lot of the day.

Anyone?
 
I'm starting Monday!! I was meant to start yesterday and I did it for the day but then realised I was giving blood today so have eaten healthy & will do until sun eve!
What plan r u doing? I'm doing 3 meal packs and a small dinner of 300cals ( did something similar on Cambridge diet, it's what suits me best!) :) anyhoo off for a swim with my fiance now. :)

Brilliant!! So pleases to have a buddy! Am doing total solution - just the 3 packs (am desperate to get this weight off ASAP). How much are you hoping to loose?
 
We will all help regardless of our stage, but it is nice to have 1 or 2 people to interact with throughout this, good luck for your journey
 
Ive got sooo much to lose. About 10-11stone!! :-s I have a bet with my fiance to lose 6 st by may and he will pay for a hol for us. :) want it all gone by this time next year. How about you Hun ? Xx

Kelly - holiday sounds like a brilliant incentive - it's always lovely to keep you're mind focused on a particular goal. I found mine was my wedding in 2008 (I ended up 18 stone a year after my first baby but lost 7lbs in 10 months on ww). I've had 2 babies in 16 months (my gorgeous dd2 is just 9 weeks!) and have used pregnancy (and giving up the cigs) as an excuse to make a complete pig of myself - am 15 stone 8lbs today and completely miserable - I've lost a stone on ww since Kate was born but it's too slow. I want to be 10.7 as an ultimate goal but will be over the moon when I hit 11 - 11.7 (at this weight I was a size 10 and want to get back into all my lovely clothes).

That was the long winded way of saying I'd love to loose 4 stone on exante and would happily loose the remaining 1 stone on ww. I'm due back to work on November 21st and would love to be at goal by then but 12 weeks just isn't realistic for that.

Phew! That was long! Bet you're sorry you asked now ;-D

Pml I lost 7 STONE not 7lbs - ww isn't that bad!!!
 
Lol 7lbs! That made me chuckle! That's prob what I lost on ww just wasn't for me. I think you could lose a majority of the 4 st in 12 weeks if u average 1st a month that's 3 gone! I bet the people u work with will be amazed. I've decided to take photos along my journey and will post them when I'm done. I'm quite scared about excess skin tho. :-( trying to exercise as much as I can! Within reason on a vlcd. X
 
Hey all.

I'm starting on Monday to. Ordered yesterday and got an email saying it should be here by tomorrow. Very excited. I have 4st to shake. Not in a hurry but soon as possible will be great. I also do Curves gym 2-3 times a week which is slowly paying dividends. Feeling a little more toned. So that should help with the loose skin once I start dropping weight.

I've got a month in South Africa coming up and I'm going to my BFF's wedding as her MOH so I really want to look good by then.

I'm ready to do this. I'm happy to join in with any new starters. Gonna need all the support we can get.

Going to stock up on water and some more water this weekend. Also going to have one last meal of all my fav foods. Keep you all posted.

I too am starting on Monday! I've had a few stops and starts but this is the one that's going to work - especially as you girls are starting at the same time!!
 
Dammit guys!! Just got an email off my cousin in Liverpool yesterday asking would it be ok if a gang of them came over next weekend to stay with us (sat - tues- I'm in Ireland) was really really geared up to start Monday but having done lt before and knowing how crap I felt the first week I'm going to postpone start on til Tuesday week :-(

I done get to see these guys very often and given that I've been pregnant the last 2 times we got together, it'd be nice to be able to catch up over a bottle of wine, bring them out to dinner etc. Am on ww since Kate was born so I suppose I'll loose something small anyway.

Raging as there's so many starting Monday - would have been nice to have the wee "same day support group", very best of luck to you all - I'll be keeping an eye on how things are going and won't be far behind u x

It's excuses like this that stop us losing weight through Exante.

Happens to you, and to everyone. There's always something small that we escalate in order to fuel our addiction to food, losing control of the wagon.

Start tomorrow as planned, by Friday you will long be in ketosis and feeling great already, your happiness will translate in your ability to welcome and greet your guests.
Be totally honest with them when they arrive, say you are on a diet and that your not gonna let things be ruined by that fact.

Explain your health is before and above sipping wine while chatting up late...

Take this as your challenge, if you can overcome it, you will get the strength you need to continue your journey.

Or you can wait until they go and find yourself in another inconvenient situation, halting your diet once again...
Because trust me, there will be other "family gatherings" to deviate you from the road to Slimville...

Wow triple whopper you are telling it like it Is (and it's true ) . So many of us make excuses for not taking control of our lives and it's not just about food ...... what's that all about ? X

Indeed hun, hope I didn't sound too harsh but theres no fluffing about... We make excuses over and over again, and thats why we are here!

Make no mistake, I plead guilty!

We have a problem and we need to first acknowledge we have it because thats the only way we can tackle it heads on.

Illustrating our "diet wagon" story, how many of us here tried to sabotage it?
Unscrew the wheel a bit, loosen up a nut or two, notice that crack in the wagon but ignoring it on purpose, etc...
We do it ALL the time so we can fall of the wagon on purpose, just for the sake of that sweet tasting Mr. Kipling cupcake?

Bloody hell, I even convinced myself that if fish is good for you and vegetables are good too, let me go down to my chippy and have that tasty fish and chips! After all, its FISH and VEGGIES!

I would be here all day telling of the hilarious and embarrassing excuses I have made to have that "last" supper...

But we know where we are failing and we know we need to fix ourselves of this, so lets all do it!
Even if on the road we bump in a stone or two and our flimsy wagon appears to break at any moment.

Its our health we are playing with, and we only have this one to live with.

Been on atkins but have been messing about!
