Happens to you, and to everyone. There's always something small that we escalate in order to fuel our addiction to food, losing control of the wagon.
Start tomorrow as planned, by Friday you will long be in ketosis and feeling great already, your happiness will translate in your ability to welcome and greet your guests.
Be totally honest with them when they arrive, say you are on a diet and that your not gonna let things be ruined by that fact.
Explain your health is before and above sipping wine while chatting up late...
Take this as your challenge, if you can overcome it, you will get the strength you need to continue your journey.
Or you can wait until they go and find yourself in another inconvenient situation, halting your diet once again...
Because trust me, there will be other "family gatherings" to deviate you from the road to Slimville...

Wow triple whopper you are telling it like it Is (and it's true ) . So many of us make excuses for not taking control of our lives and it's not just about food ...... what's that all about ? X

We have a problem and we need to first acknowledge we have it because thats the only way we can tackle it heads on.
Illustrating our "diet wagon" story, how many of us here tried to sabotage it?
Unscrew the wheel a bit, loosen up a nut or two, notice that crack in the wagon but ignoring it on purpose, etc...
We do it ALL the time so we can fall of the wagon on purpose, just for the sake of that sweet tasting Mr. Kipling cupcake?
Bloody hell, I even convinced myself that if fish is good for you and vegetables are good too, let me go down to my chippy and have that tasty fish and chips! After all, its FISH and VEGGIES!
I would be here all day telling of the hilarious and embarrassing excuses I have made to have that "last" supper...
But we know where we are failing and we know we need to fix ourselves of this, so lets all do it!
Even if on the road we bump in a stone or two and our flimsy wagon appears to break at any moment.
Its our health we are playing with, and we only have this one to live with.
