How the bloody hell do I pump the exercise ball up!

We got given our exercise balls this week and I thought I'd at least blow the thing up even if I have no idea what to do with it! I huffed, I puffed, but its still very sad looking and deflated - how did everyone else do theirs? I don't have a foot pump and am not keen on taking it to the garage to use their air pumps either. I have a bicycle pump but the ball doesn't have a valve so that no use whatsoever!

Do you not have a pound shop nearby I bought an adapter that fixed on to my bike pump to do mine

i'd ask someone else in the class to bring along whatever they used to pump up theirs if u dont manage to find an adaptor in the meantime. xxx

Ha, I had to reply, this made me laugh!!! Sorry, I had the exact same problem, I huffed and puffed like the big bad wolf, and nearly passed out!!! In the end, it's sat in my garage looking very sat and half flat!!! I couldn't even get the plug out to try and blow it up a bit more!!!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I blew mine up with my own fair lips and lungs gradually over the course of 3 evenings. Tragic! But I find it quite comfy for resting my feet on when I'm watching Corrie. Like a space age pouffe! not quite sure thats what it was intended for.....

I have been to my class tonight (lost 4.2 :D) and we were talking about when we get the balls. I am on week 7 and I think you get them on Week 9 dont you, anyway one of the girls said she already has one and her husband takes hers to the garage and gets it pumped up. So how about getting someone else to take it for you if you dont fancy going yourself.

This is hilarious if only because in more than 6 months on here you are the first person to ask!?

I blew mine up by mouth but the first time I went on it I fell off it and hit my head on my iron staircase. Me and exercise balls do not mix. At least not without mild concussion!

Some of these replys just made me laugh out loud (and bear in mind I'm in an open plan office - someone just asked if the spreadsheet I was looking at was really that funny - oddly enough its not)
The ball is currently half blown up in the middle of my living room - I may now rest my feet on it during tonights Corrie - thanks Curlygurl!
I love the fact that they just give us the ball but don't actually tell us what to do with it - thought the DVD might enlighten me - but needless to say it didn't!

I know...this is so funny! I have finished the route to management and I have yet to blow my exercise ball! I just didn't bother to do that, simply because I do not have much room for it especially with a 2 yr old toddler who loves playing with her ball! So my LL ball is left unopened!

I am literally crying with laughter at this! I love the idea of a space aged pouffe - brilliant. Now I really know why I come on here. This has really cheered me up! Who said losing weight was all doom and gloom! :D

:D

I got mine with the aim of using it for exercises :character00116: I saw in a magazine, but I ended up with bruises all over.
:sign0007:
So I kicked it.
Now I know what to do with it! :giggle:

Fabulous thread!

I found a great little electric pump at Argos for something like a tenner - it may have been on special offer - the great advantage was that it not only blew up the ball, but also deflated it when I was finished, and since my London home is not exactly palatial, that was very handy!
