Just need to let off some steam before I explode any more! I am really lucky to have just bought a fab new house but have got so much to do! We don't move in till the weekend and haven't got to be out of this place till the end of the month so would have thought that would nake things easier but it just feels like I have got lots to do at either end! I am off work as I work in a school which also sounds ideal but it also means that my kids are off school so I have got them round all the time and then when hubbys doing stuff at the new house etc he can't concentrate apprently with them both there! Well welcome to the club and I'm also trying to feed everyone and do washing etc etc
They do say that its one of the most stressful things you can do well looks like they are right! I just wanna run away and hide!!!

Awww :hug99:

Have you got any family or friends the kids could go to for a bit so you can both crack on with things.

I know you probably feel like you're getting nowhere at the moment but I bet it's all come together by the time you move in :)

Thanks for the reply. We haven't had any offers to have the kids for us my mum has helped with some of the cleaning but there isn't really anyone else can ask for stuff like that.
Feel like have lost the plot with it today and me and hubby just kEep bickering and I just feel like getting p'd and stuffing my face! Think its all just caught up with me will get a grip soon hopefully!

Get the kids mucking in!

Child labour laws are so outdated anyway. Bribe them with promises of inflation-busting pocket money rises.

I cant imagine how stressed you are. We moved not long ago and at time would have been happy to club my oh with something heavy and we dont have kids.
Fingers crossed it wont be stressful for much longer.

Morning :) Hope you are feeling a bit better today. Have you actually asked for help with the kids? People can be a bit reticent if you dont seem to need any help, but you may be surprised if you actually ask them to help out. Any friends they could go play with for a few hours or something?

Alternatively, split them up. Send one with hubby to help him at the new house - they will have to help out because there wont be anything else for them to do, or a playmate to cause mischief with, and have the other one helping you at home - I dont know their ages, but even things like packing stuff in boxes can be done by a two year old, toys and clothes and other non-breakable things, helping to load the washing machine etc. It will also help them with the transition from the old to the new house if they are more involved with the process.

Thanks folks I felt a bit better this morning and after my friend came round for coffee and I had a vent and a cry I felt even better!
Then I had an appointment for an Indian head massage which was a birthday pressie off my friends. It was very nice except when the electric tripped and the music went off and the girl had to go around looking to put it back on! It did stop the massage being as relaxing as it should have been but I had to laugh at the bloody irony of it all! Not supposed to be a relaxing week for me it seems! ;)
