Hi i do this too, I've got 2 kids and work part time, my husband full time so when i get in from work i don't want to cook so i freeze stuff ready for the week. or even just parts of meals.
I freeze Meatballs and sauce and just cook the spaghetti when i get in.
i cook batches of italian tomato sauce and freeze it (good with meatballs, pasta, even on top of chicken breast with a touch of cheese grilled)
I freeze soups
I freeze all the reduced (fresh) herbs that i buy and throw them in my cooking and punnets of fruit usually to cook with as they can go mushy when defrosted.
Goulash, any type of stew or pie filling.
I even freeze breadcrumbs (i make them from day old bread (reduced normally) blitz it in the food processor and freeze until ready to use. I use them for slimming world chicken kievs (they are amazing!!)
If in doubt just type in google 'can i freeze ......?) thats what i do and someone somewhere will tell you what you should and shouldn't freeze.
I have a cooking day once or twice a week where i cook my little heart out and freeze some stuff, fridge others and try to make my life as easy as possible :)
Good luck hope you manage it.
