I set about making my first set of Oopsie rolls this afternoon - I had some sliced roast beef, onion, lettuce, tomato and a bit of mustard and it was really nice to be able to hold a big "roll" full of nice things - I did like them but they tasted a bit too eggy - I would deffo make them again, even if it was just to hold :p I was wondering though, if there was any tips you guys have to make them taste less eggy?

Here is what they looked like!!

I tried them once and found them too eggy as well (I prefer MIMs as a substitute for bread) but would be interested to hear if they could be made less so.

They look a bit like choux pastry. Do they have the same consistency? If so I wonder if they can be made sweet and had with whipped cream!?

They look amazing!! :)

crazyjaxy, if you had a slight imagination they would :D

I put two in the frying pan this morning, added some ground cinamon, ginger and some sugar free maple syrup and they turned out really nice. No eggy taste to them at all... and a bit crispy - i've got one more left... I think that will be a sweet one as well :D

Oh, an if your turned out soggy, leave them in the open air in your kitchen for an hour and they dry up well.

how do you make them? they look yummy :0p
