I emailed Exante re taking packs to work already made uo and this s their reply.

If you wish to make up soups or shakes in the morning to take to work, this is fine to do. The shakes need to be kept refrigerated. The soups need to be kept in a flask and not re-heated. We recommend that you give them a good shake up again just before consuming.

this is interesting and i myself would love to have a shake at lunchtime instead of a cardboard bar.

i wish in their reply though they mentioned something specifically about the vitamins not being compromised over time. do you know what I mean?

Yea I do know what you mean but I have my doubts as to whether vitamins would be compromised in just a few short hours. What made me think was that when I had my babies people made bottles up and kept them in the fridge for the day. I don't know if people still do this but babies were fine. surely if it's ok for baby forumla then we should be ok?

thats a very valid point actualy.

I really want this to be the case.

Well as far as I see it it's the Exante diet we are on and any advice should be taken from Exante and not other diet companies. if Exante say it's fine then I'm going to take their word for it.

I agree. This is really sound advice. I use a flask for soup every day, it does help to give it a shake before pouring it out but it tastes just fine.

I took my shake to work made up on Saturday (Iuckily we have a fridge) and that tasted just fine after I'd given it a shake.

It makes the diet so much easier if you can take ready made up soups and shakes. Thanks for sharing this Antifeva and asking Exante too.

If I am going out or have work I make a shake up for lunch the previous evening and pop it in the freezer. I take it out the freezer the following morning and take with me wherever it is I am going and by lunchtime its melted enough and still cold to have a lovely thick drink!

Confused, last year when i asked the same question they told me you couldnt do this as it depletes the nutrients if left sitting too long. Interesting to know why the change of response now? xx
