How many people would follow SW on their birthday?

I'm just curious as it's my 22nd on Tuesday and I'm planning on having a burger king for lunch and Chinese buffet for dinner. In 28 weeks I've never had a gain so thought I'd give myself a real treat and a break. I'd wondering how many of you on your birthday's would

a. Stick to the plan and remain in syns

b. Have a flexi day

c. Have whatever you want as it is your birthday

On my birthday, I pretty much did what I wanted, but still had SW in mind, if that makes sense. We had KFC, so I chose the lower syn options, and Spag bol for tea, and had some naughty garlic bread too! But it's entirely up to you. I was away for mine, so my options were a bit limited. If you decide to go crazy, then go crazy! But don't beat yourself up over it afterwards, as it was your choice. And you don't want the after birthday guilt trip :)

Enjoy whatever you choose x

My birthday is xmas day so no i dont follow the plan at all :D

Depends whether you want to maintain, lose or gain this week I guess! Only you can answer that question-do you want to eat all that food more than you want to lose weight??

Have a flexi day, I know I'd go crazy if I didn't treat myself once in a while! The important thing is not to punish yourself afterwards, just get back on track the next day and see what happens!

I think id choose C , id go crazy but then if i gained id defo beat myself up about it because thats the kind of person i am :D

xx

I stuck to it for my boyfriends birthday as I had not long started and didnt want to look bad in the first couple of weeks haha! got the healthiest thing on the menu & at night time only had water out the town! decided I wasnt going to let the syns in alcohol take over me for one night lol!

I have had two birthdays during my SW days, and stuck to plan on both of them.

I went off plan majorly - I went to red hot buffet and ate till I was stuffed on the day. The next day was my birthday party and I had lots of sangria and doritos and dips and then was hungover on the Sunday so had a take-away. I put on 3lb on the Monday and then took another week to lose it so I ended up spening a whole month yo-yoing in total and now regret it. I think having a controlled treat would have been better.

Whatever you do enjoy yourself and get back on track straight away afterwards.

Happy birthday!

I think its entirely up to you and how important it is to you to lose. Im asumimg this question is in response to your others post where some people queried your decision to have two carryouts in one day? At the end of the day its up to you and you dont have to justify what you do. Just consider what you wrote on your other post where you said you were afraid that having one day off plan may encourage you to have the whole week off.

I am one of those that queried your 2 take outs on your birthday, but actually more because you seemed so worried about a gain after being off plan for your partners birthday. I would personally stick to plan all week except that day, have a SW brekkie & lunch, then relax & eat & drink whatever the hell i wanted in the evening. The key thing is to decide what you want, understand the consequences, and don't go all squirly if you gain!

I agree. You can always have a flexi week. Cut down on the run up and afterwards and then have what you want on the day.

P.s. Fellow Ipswich girl, Mr. Wing or 96? ;) Yum to both. Have the smokey barbecue chicken.

I think I will blow on the day and stick the plan rest of the week, and just see what happens at weigh in and face up to whatever it's my birthday.

I've never had a gain in 28 weeks so I guess thats why im abit anxious :)

Mine too. People rave about wings but I don't like it. At least 96 is quieter, the food I think is nicer and it's a bit cheaper. Say hi to Frances the waiter, that's how much I go there! Happy birthday :)

It was my birthday on Friday, and I definately didn't stick to SW, or had any intention too.
However, I should have drawn the line on Saturday, but didn't, and hence feel like a hippo, and I've got WI tomorrow.
