Keeping me going...

Hello there,
I've been following all the threads on here for a couple of weeks now and they are really keeping me going...
I was at my target weight in June last year but after getting married and having a baby within the year I have a whole load of weight to lose again. I am trying to be positive though and take it 7lbs at a time. I'm on maternity leave so doing SW from home this time...going to see how I go and then perhaps join later in the year if I start to struggle as I really do love class.
Good luck to everyone on their journeys, thank you for reading. x

Welcome BSL11! Good luck with your journey, there is a fantastic group of people on here, answering questions, giving advice and generally helping each other. If you have a question, ask, some-one will always have an answer. Xx

Hi there and welcome!!
I'm also on maternity leave an doing the plan from home. Been doing it for centuries!! (well feels like it anyway!) as pp said, there is plenty of advice and shoulders to cry on here and no question is a stupid one!!

Just remember, you've done this before, you KNOW you can do it. There's plenty of help on here if you need it :)

Thanks all :)
I sometimes feel like I am never going to be where I was before. The most I've ever lost is 4 stone and that was hard going, I can't imagine losing an extra 2 stone on top although have to look at in in bite size chunks (probably not the best words to use, haha).
Thank you for welcoming me :) x

Heya I'm on mat leave too and doing from home, just think of the little targets so it's not too daunting and remember u've had a baby so don't put too much pressure on yourself x

Dont look at the bigger picture as it does get too daunting. Instead focus on things lke half stones, 10% etc. I have lots of little targets i am aiming for, that are only a few pounds apart, but they are easily achievable a couple of weeks at a time, so im not looking too far in advance. Does that make any sense?!

My one tip for doing it at home is avoid weighing yourself all the time. I was terrible for this!!!!

yes def!!! I'm terrible and it's silly coz half way through the week if u haven't changed then u get disheartened and sabotage urself and u know I've even done the reverse, weighed myself mid week lost weight and then "treated" myself and put it bak on! Terrible things are scaled!!!!!
