Starting soon...

~~someday!~~
Hi team!

So, let's do my story. You could look thru all my posts and threads over the years but I'll summarise!

I've been overweight FOREVER. Literally since I was about 8, genetically unfortunate and greedy mean fat kids - my poor parents really tried.

First time I had any success with lots of weight loss was in my 2nd year of uni when I did lipotrim for 5 months. I lost 5.5 stone (finish 11st 7) and was the happiest I've ever been. I met my boyfriend, got my degree and started gaining weight again. I got happy and comfortable and took my eye off the ball! 2.5 yrs later I found myself at 22st 3 and in a hospital waiting room ready to see a consultant about the gastric band I was planning.

I changed my mind and started lipotrim again. I lost 9 stone and came off it for Xmas. I intended to get back on WW or something but never did. So now 5 years later ish, I'm at 18st something and starting CD soon. Going for CD due to the choice and support available. My mum does it too, so I'll be going to her CDC. if she likes her I'm bound to - peas in a pod we are.

The CDC is on hols at the mo so when she's back next week I'll begin! So excited. I know it's hard but I find it strangely satisfying not eating, feeling hungry and not buckling. Empowering almost. Can't wait to feel positive again.

So tell me about yourselves?!

xx

Ok ill tell my story, as Im a noobie. I have also been podgey all my life, from being a baby not wanting to eat, my mum was desperate for me to eat, once I got a taste for food, I never looked back! I've been on diets all my life, rubbish slow sensible diets, you lose 1lb and gain 3lbs.. I hit 17 and Id had enough, suddenly more weight went on, and I didnt even realise! So I stayed there for 4 years, went off to uni and regained control over what I ate, but by then had a large appetite and struggled to cut down.
Then I started LL this February, I just thought yep, Ill do that! 12 weeks later, 3 stone lighter, feeling so good, I just stayed right there.. small part of me pretty happy at that weight.
But now a few months later, I'm ready to continue, get into the size 10s and 8s!:)
