Extra Easy Day 1!!!

Hi folks. I have decided to hopefully keep up to date with this blog to hopefully help me to lose 3 stone (at least). I have been overweight since I got pregnant with my first child - Cameron, who is now 11 years old. I have been on every diet that I could find on Google and was successful - for the first 3 days and then got bored and tried something else! So here goes nothing!!!

Day 1

Breakfast - 1 slice wholemeal bread with fried egg (in frylight) and mushroom.

Lunch - BBQ - quorn sausage (1 SYN each?), chicken, homemade burger and salad - 3 syns roughly!!

Dinner - jacket potato with teaspoon marg (guessing at 2 syns), tin of tuna, sweetcorn and 2 tblspoons extra light mayo (2 syns?) and salad.

Snacks - muller light and fruit.

As you may have noticed I am guessing at syns as am trying to do this myself and using old books - yes I have dont slimming world before but am determined to stick to it!

P.s - does anyone know how I add a weight tracker at the bottom of this???

Which/where are your healthy extras? The bread and potato could be HEXB's but you'd have to weight the potato (227g in skin as a HEXB) And theres no dairy (HEXA) at all. You should be having 2 HEXAs and 2 HEXBs on Red. Did you have no milk in tea/coffee or anything?

You dont seem to have much superfree in there. Just the mushroom and salad plus the fruit snacks but its hard to tell not knowing how big the salad was. On Red/Green it isn't as strict as 1/3 of a plate but you should still be eating them.

Sweetcorn isn't free on Red - you'd have to syn it, 1.5 per 28g.

I wouldn't guesstimate your syns personally, they top up VERY fast. Make sure they're a *level* tsp/tbsp (ie of a proper measuring spoon - not a heaped coffee spoon :D ) How did you make your homemade burger? (Was it extra-lean meat/what else did you add to it?)

Your day looks far more of an EE day really as you have only used one HEX (bread) if you count your sweetcorn, potato, chicken and tuna as free food - BUT if you are doing EE you MUST fill up your plate 1/3 superfree at all meals.

Not bad though, Im sure youll be losing, good luck x :)
 
Sorry Ive npticed it *says* EE in the title, ignore me Im a moron. :eek: For some reason cos you'd written it in red font I read it as a Red day. Please beat me over the head with a lamb chop until I learn to read properly :D

the rest of it about the superfree and syns Ill stick to though :D
