Exercise!!!

Does anyone do exercise on top of the diet to loose weight or just the diet?

When i look at the weight loss in the first week of people it seems a lot to just be the shakes wondered if exercise was a part of it, Thanks :D
 
they say dont exercise in the first week, while you get used to such a drastic diet change.

my view is..... you may struggle with heavy exercise on this diet because of the lack of calories you are takin in, it might make yu feel hungrier and could possibly make you feel faint. I walk the dogs for an hour or so a day, so thats light exercise and im starting to do sit ups to sort my stomach out, though im thinkin of cheatin n gettin the slendertone. I dont think big exercise sessions on such a VLC diet is advisable. I think toning exercises may be the best. Might be wrong though, just personal opinion
