Help needed pleased confused newbie

Hi All,

I joined sw at the end of last week but i am so confused, firstly although i joined last thursday i have been at work (14hr shifts) the last two days so i am shopping for food today then starting tomorrow but i am confused by the plans. I am vegetarian so really its just the extra easy or green plan available to me but other than etra hexs i cant see what the difference is between the two plans.

Also in the book i got it says that quorn sausages are free foods but i am sure i remeber reading on here somewhere that they are no longer free? i am confused because i assumed that the book i got on Thursday would be up to date, does anyone know anything about this?
 
Hiya - I am a veggie and do green days. Quorn sausages are 1 syn each now. I do green plan cos I like the 2 HEA and B's. With EE every meal has to be 1/3 superfree. Hope that helps!
 
There's no point doing EE if you're veggie, do Green. You get 4 HEX's, (2A and 2B) and dont need to have 1/3 superfree - BUT it *is* still important to have superfree when you can, it's just less strict than on EE.

Quornchanged the recipe so their sausages are 1 syn each now. Syns change all the time as manufacturers change recipes so directories arent very reliable, youre better off checking on the food directory online or on here.

thankyou everyone for your super quick replies. Because of my shift work etc i think i am going to struggle to keep attending groups so i am thinking of trying to follow it alone but this will mean that i dont have access to sw online to check syns is there any other way?

I am determined to give sw 100% however there seems to be a lot of carbs etc in sw plans which is the complete opposite of what i always thought you needed to do if trying to loose weight?
 
Hi,there is a syns forum here orifice you google "how many syns in a mars bar" for instance it takes you to the answer on many of the forums available. Also you can buy a syns book from class x
