Hi I have been doing lighter life for 10 weeks and have lost 3 stone, but have not been sticking to it for the last 2 weeks and feel fed up of it. Also i cant really afford £66 per week as i dont really feel that i get much out of the councelling i am thinking about changing to the cambridge diet, as i like the idea of 790 cals a day any advise off you all would be great

Like you I lost 3st on LL but wanted to shift another half stone or so so I switched to Cambridge and never regretted it.

I never enjoyed the counselling element of LL (though I did meet some lovely women in the group) and so it seemed a bit daft to keep paying almost double the amount for something I wasn't using.

MY CDC is really lovely and extremely accommodating and it has been nice to have a change of food packs. The reduced cost is considerable too so all in all a great choice.

So my advice is to go for it.

p.s. I still miss the LL fruit bars though - I loved them!!!

Just do it, what have you got to lose lol, just more weight.
Great flavours and in my opinion good value.
Oh and it works

I completed foundation with LL and it was great , but I changed to Cd at the end becuase I had started to feel 'short changed' by LL , coudnt see what the point was really in carrying on paying £20 over the odds every week for very hit and miss counselling. I love CD, its more flexible and the flavours are better and more varied and dont get me started on the bars they are divine, and have saved me from a chocolate blow out on many an occasion.
With hindsight I wish I had done CD from the beginning as I feel I put myself through unneccesary hardship really on LL, but I met some lovely people and I dont regret that at all.
Good Luck with the change you will love the 790 and 1000 options if you are struggling with SS ing( thats sole sourcing in CD speak which means just packs, took me months to work that out LOL).

Hi Sarah, I switched over to CD after 12 weeks...I really needed some new flavours! I think the counselling is a very important aspect of LL but if you think that you have gained as much as you can from it, then Cd would be a good alternative. I'm glad I started with LL and equally happy to have switched to CD.

I've never looked back since switching from LL to CD. Flavours nicer, more to choose from, cost's less, working through plans a much nicer idea & counselling cr*p (well for me it was, although i'm aware many do benefit from it). Do i need to say much more??? Do whats right for you but i think you've probably already made your mind up, good luck hun....xxx

thanks for all your comments you've helped me decide what to do
i'm going to join you all on cambridge
fuzzy angel you look amazing in your photos what a difference cant wait to get on withit now
