Celebrity Slim to Exante

Before coming on here I had never heard of Exante. Have any of you moved from CS to Exante and what's the difference?
I have been on CS for 3 days now with no probs except deciding what to have for a main meal! So if I found a reasonable VLCD that replaced all my meals for 6-12 weeks to give me the kick start I need which should I go for?

The VLCD are all much the same and give the same(ish) weight losses ~ approx a stone a month. The differences are in the way you get the product and the prices. I think everyone on this board would say Exante is the best...... it's low cost, I think it tastes great, you don't have to see anyone to get it you just buy online and you can get all the support you need from the lovely peeps here on minimins. Have a look around all the VLCD boards and make comparisons... all the info you need is there. Let us know what you decide... it's hard on one of these diets, don't think it's easy but if you stick to it the results are worth it. Good luck!

I am also currently on CS and want to change to a total VLCD as I find having the meal a faff also. I am tempted towards exante due to the cost however I'm not sure that I'll like the chocolate or banana shakes which is what makes me think Cambridge would be better as I could pick and choose. Part of me thinks I should just man up and drink the shakes I don't particularly like as the saving is so good! X

I have just switched from CD to exante . Yes the CD shakes are much nicer ( sweeter ) but they are also much thinner and never left me feeling satisfied, but exante are much thicker and creamier , I am finding it much easier to stick to ..also CD were so nice it was tempting to have an extra one or even to eat sweet stuff .. exante are just right in my opinion :D

Thanks, how and where do I find the Exante shakes and how much are they?

Hi Ali,

I have just started exante and bought the mixed bumper pack from their website - exantediet.com

The mixed bumper pack is 84 packs - mixture of bars, shakes and soups. You cannot pick flavours though. But the saving is brilliant - 50% off. Cost me just over £100 and this will last me 4 weeks so it is considerably less than some of the other VLCD's. They do other packs too so you can choose type of meal replacement depending on your own preference. E.g. just shakes. As well as bumper packs there are packs that will last around a week (I think) but this will cost you quite a bit more money doing it this way. Much cheaper to buy in bulk!

Hope this helps x

That is a great saving if you can afford to buy in one go and in the long run makes much more sense. Having enough for a month in the house would help you to stay on it I would think.
Thanks,

I still have another week's worth of celebrity slim and I will have to wait till payday for £100 spare! but yes I will give it a go.
Is it full meal replacement not just 2 shakes and a meal?
I'm getting confused with all the different products available and what are full replacement and which are 2 + meal!!!

That would suit me better, thanks.
I'll pop along to their website and have a read xx

Hi,
I came off Cambridge and went on Exante. Much better tasting soups, as someone else said, the shakes are ok and nice and creamy and fill you up better. As I find it hard to do longer than a month, I go on to healthy eating for a month, and loose about 3 or 4 lbs, + I loose over a stone on a month of exante.
Give it a go - its great x

Thanks mambo. I did the CD too in 2008/9 but can't afford £40 a week at the mo!
I am full on the celebrity slim shakes so changing to another VLCD should be a breeze...I hope! :p
I agree with the taste of CD soups :yuk: but CS shakes are thicker and creamier than CD

Website is really good Ali and I found the FAQ's section to be really helpful. A few options to choose from but I am doing Total Solution which I think from what you have written so far that may be the best for you.
Good luck with it, let us know how you get on.
