Mousse

Morning Guys
Any tips on how to make the mousse? I tried it last night and it turned out more like wall paper paster. Luckily i salvaged it back into a shake by putting in into the blender with more water and ice.
Is this just how it is or is there a nack to it?

I did a mousse last night and was so looking forward to it and mine turned into like a powdery goo i cant blame the shakes though i did it wrong but still ate it LOL was gross
 
Beat the s**t out of it with the whisk. It won't be moussey but it's edible x
 
Thanks for the link avaya but by the sounds it's just awful anyway so may as well stick to the shakes lol. Cheers anyway guys x
 
stick it in the freezer!! trust me its lush! i use more water though, about 100ml, and leave it in the freezer for about an hour ish, the outside goes like icecream n the inside like thick mousse, its gorgeous!! i spoke to the chemist who said leavin it in this long wont do any harm especially when im not doin it all the time, it isnt the fact the nutrients escape when they recommend to drink the shake within 15 mins, its that it can cause stomach upset apparently! i dont think freezin counts though!

I'm looking forward to the picture. You've sold the icecream to me though. Going to try it tomorrow night as a treat with my DVD. No point in going out this weekend if i can't drink lol.

looks yummy i think! it melts in your mouth. Probably left it in about an hour an a half, just keep checkin it, it goes solid round the outside n stays soft in the middle. any longer n it just turns to ice
