Hi Guys

I've just signed up to this site having used it loads as a reference point and motivator!

In the last 6 months I have piled on 2 stone !! I did slimming world 18 months ago and got down to a nice weight, then a little crept on, then more and more and more.

I am a very active person - I run, horse ride, cycle and swim!
I started training for 400km cycle across kenya next feb for WomenVCancer about 6 months ago and completed a 66 mile cycle between Manchester and Blackpool 2 weeks ago - so I am fit and active. Just feel fat and frumpy at the same time :(

Anyway, started back on the plan last week as need to get the scales back down- did great over the weekend, disaster struck Monday when we had a horse-related incident and someone went out to fetch food for us and ended up getting me a McDonalds, so have tried extra hard since then. But today, I made a lovely pasta salad with Tuna and Sweetcorn and the stupid dog managed to pinch it off the work surface and finished the lot :(

We have a canteen in work but everything is covered in pastry and served with chips. I piled my plate today from the salad bar but everything is covered in mayonaise and am sure it isn't low fat!! Feel really fed up and as if I'm fighting a loosing battle.

Know I just need a word with myself and tomorrow will be another day - just feeling a bit fed up!!

I know exactly how you feel I lost 1 stone 9 pound and was delighted with myself, only thing is on a high I started a gym and thought I didn't have to be as strict with the eating, boy was I wrong! I put all the weight back on and only in four months!!

It was such a shock I got straight back into it and I've lost 7 and 1/2 pound in 4 weeks :) I had a really bad week this week and lost nothing and I still can't seem to get back on track :sigh:

I'd suggest that you make lunch's and bring them to work. You could make pasta/cous-cous salad. Or fruit Salad with fat free yogurt? Or even a hot meal and heat it up if there's a employee's lounge with one?

Just take it day by day and eat plenty of super free food and speed foods :) We'll both reach our targets if we just keep going :D
