Stuff and nonsense

Just tucking into an Activia snackpot as part of my lunch (I'm usually a muller girl, but I love peach flavour and there's a mix and match deal on Mullers/activias at the mo)

Anyhoo, looking at the label I noticed one of my pet hates - made up sciency sounding names on products to make us think there's something amazing about it. Apparently my yoghurt contains ""Bifidus Actiregularis (R)"

WTF???!!!

They havent even bothered to make up a description to go with - just printed the made up name on the lid.

Its just a yoghurt for flips sake!

Anyone else bothered by this sort of thing. Cosmetics are another culprit (pantene, l'oreael, Olay etc)

Just a load of marketing bollox: What is Bifidus Regularis?

I think they'd find it tricky to make a yoghurt *without* bacteria in...

But haven't you seen the advert?! With the arrows and little yellow dots that the arrows help to move *ahem* things along.

Bifidus whatsitface are little arrows that poke things in your tummy to make them move....

xx

Lol @Ali....xx
