Okay so Im gonna be 30 next year and Ive gotta get this weight off, this is the last chance saloon for me!! As always, there are many reasons why I want to lose: These are not in order of importance but in order of time scale, whats happening first!-
1. Going on hols in 7 weeks and would love a stone gone for that!
2. to be trendy and fit and gorgeous at 30 nxt yr, goign to new york to celebrate it!
3. not be a frumpy tracksuit wearing mum at the school gates when my little one starts school next yr
4. So im not as self conscious all the time, so I dont avoid going on nights out cos Ive nothing to wear, to stop putting my life off "for when I lose weight"!!!

Okay, so i was originally 18stone, got my weight down as far as 13st 13lbs!! And now I think im probably 16st 2 or 3lbs-gotta weigh myself in the morning!! So thats over 2stone back on, Im so totally disgusted with myself but it was so easily done, I didnt even notice it all creeping back up til I tried on some of my last years summer clothes from when I was 13st 13lbs!!

So here it goes, Im gonna keep a food and exercise diary on here, I dont mind if nobody reads it, its mostly for myself. Im gonna be totally honest and on the level cos otherwise im only fooling myself!!!!

Day 1
Breakfast:
Banana and cup of tea with milk(1/2 hea)

Lunch:
Savoury Rice with tomato and springonion salad. Apple

Dinner
Grilled Pork Chops with spices, lashings of cauliflower and carrotts and mashed potatoes.

Exercise:
Walk 30mins
Well thats the plan anyway...I will update later on to see how the plan went!!

Hi Tippex,
I am also turning 30 at the end of this year and I know exactly how you feel!
You seem extremely motivated and your head is in the right place!
I gave up smoking 2 years ago which cause alot of weight gain for me!
I've also suffered with thyroid problems for 4 years which really messed with my weight, if it was overactive I could be down to 8 stone and then it would go underactive and I'd go to about 13 stone! Luckily it's levelled out this past year and medication has kept it steady and I felt like I had control of my body again!
So in January I decided to get fit and eat more healthy!
It was so hard, starting weight was 12 stone 12lb, I couldn't walk up the stairs without getting out of breath.
I am now 9 stone 12lb and I'm trying to get to 9 stone 7lb and then maintain my weight.
I had alot of slips throughout the process, some weeks were full of disappointment if I gained or stayed the same! I had to stay positive!
I bought lots of those 5, 10, 15, 20 minute workout dvds and just started with the 5 each day and slowly built it up to doing 50 minutes!
Sorry for the essay, all I'm trying to say really is stay positive, don't beat yourself up over little blips, and if you ever want to chat I'm here ?
