Books, a proper book shop, with readings, all the classics and new stuff too.
I have designed it in my head and everything, old fashioned bit, dark wood, modern bit, all light and contemporary and a big kids area with squashy sofas for book readings. Study area for students, like a book club come book shop.

I'm with RD, cards & craftmaking, and I could sit all day, crafting away at my heart's content.
This town is seriously lacking in clothes for those of us into more alternative styles. My Husband and I are actually looking to set up an online store to fill the gap in the market and, if sucessful, we'll open up a shop!
We'll be selling things like corsets, dresses, chokers and adult books, movies and toys.
(By the way I know alot of these threads are ancient but I do like a lot the topics!)

I've always wanted to open a good little food place where people could get decent, home made food at not rip-off prices. It would be healthy recipes of course, and free refills on coffee.

ooh now this is something me and my partner have been talking about seriously (however we would have to win the lotto first). But.....money being no object we would buy a canal house in Amsterdam. The basement would be a little tea/coffee room selling delicious home baked cakes, and sarnies made with our own chutnies etc. The ground floor would be a bar, decorated with my partner's photography and local amateur/unknown photographers can display some of their work for free. There would be a whole wall of vinyl where people can come and put on whatever they want (no jukebox charges) and write up on the blackboard what they are playing for all to see. Both floors will be kitted out with retro and antique furniture, boho chic and nothing matching.
The next two floors will be our living space!

A bakery ... I LOVE baking ... and tasting the end results which is why I'm on the diet *lol*
