I have just started slimming world and am thinking of for every half stone i loose ( i have about 8 to loose) that i treat myself to something.
I don't mean "syns", am thinking i might have my feet done with those little rumba fishes.
What sort of things would everyone else have? hopefully give me a little goal to work towards :)

When i get my first 7lbs im going to get my nails done :)
its great to treat yourself every time you reach a goal!
 
Everytime I get a sticker (for each 7lbs lost) I buy myself a new charm for my pandora bracelet - in the colour of the sticker.

It's incentive for me now and will be good to look back on once i've lost the weight.

Im going to treat myself to a facial then when i hit a stone a facial and a full body massage :) i cant wait!! lol
 
I'm wondering whether to start a Pandora bracelet now.
 
aww wow these are all awesome ideas! i'm only a newbie at the moment! well more like returnie! but thinking what will help me keep on track.
The pandora idea seems really nice and something you can visualise!

Well hopefully i will get my half stone and go for my "treat" am off on holiday on tuesday for two weeks so it will have to wait until i'm back, am not far off it now anyway :)

The facial sounds like a lush idea! i love having beauty treatments done

the advantage with the bracelet is you can 'fiddle' with the beads whilst someone is munching something tasty - knowing that by refusing you're that bit closer to your next bead
If course, it also stands of a permanent reminder

Do you have a local college close to you, you cant get hair/beauty treatments really cheaply, if you like the Pandora style of bracelet you can get cheaper versions on Ebay/markets/bootsales with beads for around £2-4
 
I have a cheap version of pandora from Warren James jewellers - the silver charms start at about £7.50 and there's loads of choice. I get one every half stone!
 
I don't treat myself, but starting to think maybe I should! I might get myself a nice new chamilia charm when I get to 3 stone xx
 
I don't treat myself but I do save a little bit of money for each sticker I get which is going towards my target tattoo which will be a butterfly to represent the new me and a quote that I have used alot to help me stay on track on my journey :) can't wait!
 

I dont mean to hijack this thread but id like to ask for opinions.

Im a beauty therapist and have taken the plunge and gone self employed. As you can imagine its quite scary and i want to get my name out there and get it recognised.

As i was reading this thread yesterday i had an idea. What do you think to going into slimming world groups and offering beauty treatments at a discount when people meet certain goals (1/2 stone, club 10 etc)? Im not sure if this happens at anyones group and as i dont go to group (do it online) it may be a bit cheeky, but i do have a friend and a family member that goes to group session. (obviously id talk to consultants first).

What do you guys think? Would you like treatments at a discount for reaching goals and would it be a bit of an incentive?

You may have to talk to SW head office as legally they may feel that it looks as though they're endorsing you?

However I think it's blimming fabulous! You could offer 5% and 10% offers on club 10 and WW do 5% awards.
Although all advertising would have to have a non endorsement disclaimer I would think.

Don't mean to put a downer on your treat BUT eyelash extensions completely ruined my natural lashes and it has taken over 2 years for them to get back to normal! I LOVED them and always had compliments at how fab my eyes looked, I only had them done 3 times so its not as if I was getting them done every farts end! Just be careful because once you stop getting them you will notice how much damage it will have caused to your own lashes :( I will NEVER get them done again, its just not worth it!
 
I've decided to save £5 for every 1 lb that I lose and then when I reach target I will have a good sum of money to go out and buy a whole new slim and sexy wardrobe! Aiming for £700 in total!
