Exercise - how many packs?

Hi all! I'm on SS and was wondering.. how much exercise is required before you go up to 4 packs?

The reason I'm asking is coz I cycle about 10 miles a day (to/from uni) which includes a few hills, and I was completely cream cracked on my way up the hills today - probably due to depleted glycogen stores? Down hill was a bit easier though :p

A little bit of knowledge can be a dangerous thing.. I'm a med student and I've been sat in the library today researching ketosis! haha.

The number of packs is based on height and whether male or female. The only exercise advice I've seen is not to do anything too energetic as you won't have the energy :chores016:

If you don't feel you're getting enough calories for your exercise level - you might be better on the 790 programme. The weight loss is only a couple of pounds less a month :wavey:

HI Ida,

I do two one hour sessions of resistance training (this is to help a knee injury) a week, and I walk briskly uphill on a treadmill for 30 minutes a day, every day.

I am 5'10" so I have 4 packs a day already, and I have to say, that if I'd do any more exercise than what I do normally I would feel a bit weak... That said, I was doing this before starting SS, so it's not that it's a new routine... Like your cycling isn't a new routine... However, if you do feel that you are completely exhausted and you are starting to feel weak because of it, I would speak to your CDC and see what he/she suggests. Maybe, like Ellie said you may have to go on to CD790 to help you get a bit more energy for those bike rides! If you do a search on 790, you'll see that a lot of people have had results that are just as great on this plan as on SS!

Good luck,
xxx.
