Hi, I've been to a group recently that had the lolly moulds and diet lemonade and squash as a raffle prize. I was keen on making lolly's and would like ideas as to what to put in them. Does anyone put mullerlight in lolly moulds?

Yes Ive made muller lollys before and thery are yummy!!!!!!! The raspberry and cranberry ones are my favourite, although with new coconut ones coming out they maight be nice as well!

Diet lemonade is also yummy and you could also pop some grapes or fruit in the bottom too!

Lets just hope we get the weather to enjoy them! x

I have some moulds I picked up in a sale and fancy doing this but have no diet lemonade. Can I just do them with nas squash and water?

It's fine to freeze

Thankyou!!!

I have been looking into getting lolly molds just the past couple of weeks, Great timing :D

I heard about Mullerlight in them and thought that was a great idea and also.. A friend showed me on River cottage program they make 100% fruit lollies but liquidizing the fruit. not completely but just enough to be poured and it still had the fruit texture.

They would be very synful, altho might be nice as a treat :)
Best off using a free or very low syn ingredient that would be equally yummy x

They'd only be a *bit* sinful... 28g is about 1/2 to 1 syn depending on what fruit it is. (avoid bananas though! :D ) Be nice to have a yoghurt with a tablespoon or two of pureed fruit mixed in maybe? That wouldnt be very 'expensive'. Cherries, blueberries, strawberries, pineapple? Yum yum. :)

A bit of fruit pureed wouldn't be too high in syns, but my understanding was that the post above was saying about using 100% puree'd fruit! Thought that'd be quite high x

My lolly moulds only hold 80g so would be 3 syns each max :D

He used strawberries and he didn't fully liquidize them, not sure if that helps. But they looked ever so yummy.
I wouldn't do often anyway, more like a luxury because the amount of fruit that would be used would end up expensive.

I struggle to use Syns so it wouldn't hurt to have a few. :D
I don't think the molds are that big either are they? Sort of kiddie size.

They was strawberries that he used. But I like the idea of adding yoghurt to lower the Syn allowance. :D

3 Syns with just the fruit? That's pretty cool. less than most snacks :D
