Indian Spiced Shepherds' Pie

It is if you use *extra* lean mince and serve it with veggies (there's not 1/3 superfree in the recipe). I nearly made this but haven't got round to it yet. They had an almost identical recipe a few months back that I did make, it was DIVINE:

Yes I used the lean mince and I always put a huge salad of tomatoes and cucumber under my meal.
It was really gorgeous. I greedily had 2 portions.
I thought it might be dry but it wasn't at all. Had leftovers for lunch today.
Yum!!

**Extra** lean, not just lean! Less than 5% fat, check on the packet - if its less than 5g fat per 100g you're OK. Lean isn't free (although it's not many more syns and lost of people just use it and count it as free anyway  :D )

Mmm sounds delish though, might have a go at that next week! :)

OK OK, sorry, just checking as you kept only saying lean when I asked if it was extra lean *crawls back under duvet* :(

Sorry I just felt a bit small there when you replied...I understood lean to be extra lean if you know what I mean!!
I am at target so not that bothered about the exact content but just did not want to be misleading others on the site.
Thanks anyway!!

OK no worries, sorry if I came across wrong, it wasn't intentional and I did put plenty of smilies in there ;) :D

The difference between lean, extra lean and 'standard' is key on SW as extra lean is free, lean is not free but far better than standard and standard has the most syns. I appreciate now that you know this ;) but it wasnt clear to me when you replied and like you I don't want to mislead newbies that might not know :) Peace :wave_cry:
