Just like Many who have been scared when starting refeed/Maintenance, i am too! Will be starting refeed next week, and then onto maintenace. I still need/want to loose between 7 &14lbs, but now i am only just in my BMI, but my pharmacist is not keen for me to continue now i am in my BMI (just). Silly question- but would like honest answers-Has anyone lost any weight doing maintenance, and if so roughly how much a week? Thanks for any replies :)

Well done on your losses hon - you've done brilliantly!

To try to answer your question, it depends what you mean by 'doing maintenance'. None of us (as far as I know) are on the LT maintenance plan as such. I believe there IS a plan whereby you can use their maintenance products to lose weight but I don't really know anything about it.
I find that a bit confusing myself because 'maintenance' implies maintaining - staying the same - not regaining, but maybe that's just me.

Some of us here in the maintenance section are trying to lose a few lbs here and there because what I think we've all discovered to one extent or another is that maintenance isn't so much about staying exactly the same weight all the time as curbing any increase and pulling it back.

I'm not sure I'm being particularly helpful I'm sorry - I don't know whether you've posted in the refeed section, you may possibly get more help there regarding the 'maintenance to lose weight plan'.

In any case my advice would be to plan your refeed very carefully and follow the sheet to the letter. I see you had a little gain last time you did it and while annoying it's not that unusual and is only fluid as your body gets used to eating again - it's not fat and soon settles down - provided you're sticking to the plan. Once you've refed for a couple of weeks you can then see and decide whether you need/want to cut back if you want to lose more.

Enjoy all those flavours again & let's know how you go on :) x

I cant add more than what Jan has already said.
Good luck with refeed :)
