Been watching Celebrity Yo-Yo dieters, sort of hate this sort of programme but felt compulsed to watch as a yo-yo dieter myself (former I hope)! What is interesting is that LL exercise guy James Lamper from the dvd's is on it and it turns out he is the founder of the new Weight Matters plan!! (very similar to CD and LL, theres a post about it somewhere on the forum) Plus he looks much slimmer than he did on the dvd's, proof that his diet works??? Wonder what LL think of that? Still watching the programme at the moment, feel ashamed of myself!!!!! The commentators can be very mean sometimes.....

I remember him from the dvds when I was on LL last year. They said he'd lost a lot of weight and then became a fitness instructor. It's interesting that he's founder of weight matters that I've recently heard about.

Mentioning the dvds reminds me how much I got sick of Helen Lederer starting every week with 'I don't know about you'...:D

Hello all - noticed this in passing - the situation is that James Lamper has a small weight loss and exercise business called Weight Matters which is his original business founded a while ago.

This new company, Weight-Matters, is not related to him in any way.

I've just finished watching this programme on Living TV. What an absolute load of RUBBISH - ill-informed and quite dangerous. How are production companies allowed to come out with such nonsense?
1. Get a pretty blonde girl to stuff her face in an inconceivable way (i doubt many overweight people eat the way she was asked to)
2. Take a before picture before said facestuffing - be sure that blonde girl is stood up straight and (visibly) holding her tummy in and has great posture
3. Take an after picture - posture is bad and ask her to stick her tummy out as much as possible
4. 'Starve' her for a week - then take another "after" pic. Again make sure she's stood bolt upright and is holding her tummy in.

Pathetic.

That PhD David Dempky (or whatever his name is) who was calculating the 'body' age of the stars ... any monkey could've spouted out numbers and said that a 35 yr old celeb has a body of a 50 yr old. What on earth were those numbers based on?!!!!

I could not and still can not believe what I have just watched!!

forgot to post James' website for anyone who is interested:

WeightMatters - take weight off your mind | home

Had a look at the web page. This may explain why Weight Matters changed their name to W8 Matters or the such like ...

Although if his site is aimed at the obese then statements like:
Personal Training Services
We can rev up your meatabolism!

are cods-wallop. Fat people have an extremely high metabolic rate it doesn't need revving up, the calories eaten need to be reduced.
