Cauliflower instead of pasta/rice

Hi just thought I'd mention a tip I use.... If I'm making a curry or a chill I serve it on cauliflower instead of pasta or rice. Don't over cook the cauli or it'll turn mushy...I chop the cauli thru so it's small like rice and to be honest once mixed with the topping there's not much difference....apart from the propoints....0 ;-)

I like make the zero point everyday tomato and vegetable sauce that's in the enjoy your food leaflet and pour it over shredded cabbage . Very tasty and point free .

I love cauliflower & would eat it everyday but the OH isn't so keen. I'm lucky to get one small floret down him.

Defo gonna start doing this though instead of rice or mash. :) xx

Last night had Chicken WW Korma over Cauliflower. Steamed the cauliflower for about 20 mins and just broke it up. Usually I will blend the cauliflower together with a little bit of chicken stock but couldn't be bothered last night.

I wrote a blog post recently about dieting tricks, and an American woman came on and mentioned the cauliflower thing. I'd never heard of it before then, but it does make sense. (Still not brave enough to actually try it, though!).

Go on Louise it won't kill ya....lol. Like I said it sounds vile but it really isn't much different to rice once it's sauced...x

Mmmm. I love using cauliflower like this. Also love cabbage with a bit of buttery fry light and bit of garlic through it. Makes it feel much more naughty than it really is
