Hi all!

I'm Heather, 31 mum of 2 fussy eaters, 2 cats and a hoard of rabbits and g.pigs! I've battled with my weight for years, lost endless lbs with ww, always ended up falling off the wagon.

Latest loss was 22lbs up to xmas 2009.. Between then and now... Ive gained nearly 4st :(... Been on SW a week, really struggling to settke into a routine of proper eating (im a huge wrong food, takeaway fan)... Sooo hungry! I think I'm scared to use my syns lol.

Came here in the hope of inspiration and support!

Hi there, and welcome :D

This site is awesome, its a brilliant little community, and its great that everyone is in the same boat- either wanting to lose weight or maintain a target.

I was like you when i started SW. i felt bad for having syns. i felt bad for being full too....im at a point now (it took about 3 weeks tbh) where i can feel ok using syns. either on a little treat or on things like extra light mayo in my tuna pasta, or having a bit of extra cheese in my scrambled egg ;)

Really it just takes time to get used to the routine. my advice is- dont go hungry. if you go hungry, you'll get bored and give up. also, if you are craving something, like a biscuit, maybe look at how many syns are in that, and if you think its not worth it, try and find a substitute. i love the hifi bars that we get in group. the cranberry one is GORGEOUS. i tried it last week, i shall definitely be buying more. 6 syns or a healthy extra

also, if you check out the food diary section on the sw subforum, you might get some good ideas on what to eat- and you can do your own too- so people can read it, and maybe offer pointers on how you can improve on things, if any.

Hope this has helped some. it does work! i'm on week 13 (bought another countdown) and got my 2 stone award on tuesday! I'm never hungry, and I'm really happy with how much variety there is :D

Best of luck on your journey!
