my liptrim diary, hope you dont mind me postin this thread

i realise you're all probably diaried out, but i feel this may help me focus so want to write entries every day, hope you dont mind

day one - was agonising, because i eat to eliviate boredom usually, and dont eat til im full i eat til i want to stop eating. So its been tough, and the amount of water i have to consume is overwhelming me

day two (today)
i love the shakes but still feel hungry. Very tired and a little wobbly. I havent had as much water as i should have but i cant face having all 3 litres, hope it wont make a huge difference and i will try my best to have it all tomorrow. Give anythin to chew somethin right now but i will abstain. Goin to get chicken soup sachet tomorrow as i really want somethin savoury. After a cold day today workin i had a hot chocolate shake which was lovely. Check in tomorrow with you guys

I think I would struggle to do 3 ltrs of water a day. I make sure I have 2 ltrs but doubt if it's much more. I thought from looking at the DVD and reading the bag its a min of 2 and no more than 4 but I guess there are others far more experienced than this newbie. If it is playing on your mind and you'd really like certainty why not give the Lipotrim 'Freephone' Helpline a ring - I hear they are really helpful

Keep it up - I'll keep checking to keep us both on our toes !!!

Thanks, my pharmacist said i have to have 3 litres, no more, no less, though im not quite sure how right that is as the bag doesnt specify it that specifically. I did however manage it yesterday, i thought, if im gunna do it, ill do it right, so i got the rest own while hopefully cleaning the last lot of dishes ill clean for a while!!

Day 3 - First day back on LT while bein at my full time job ( work 7 days a week, 5 full time job and 2 part time) i thought it would be harder today with the chocolates people bring in, i looked at them though and they actually made me feel a bit sick! I actually made a chocolate shake into a cookie from an iea i got off xante, it was ok, but ill probably stick to shake form. I got some chicken soup today and i cant believe how excited i was to get it, and how much i appreciated it when i was havin it. Its not the nicest, but its palatable just about, need salt, but im a salt monster normally, so hopefully this diet will mean when i do return to food, i wont need to cover it in salt.
Ive had peaks and troughs today, felt great this mornin, became hungry about 11, held off til 12, had my shake then about 1 felt really tired, now im feelin so so. Managed to drink 2 and a half litres of water at work, meanin i only have half to drink tonight ! go me :) im still determined though and i feel lighter already, though that might just be emptyness cos i feel hungry quite a lot. Dietitian at work says it isnt healthy this diet, but if it was that bad im pretty sure the pharmacists wouldnt sell it?

foofoo you are doing great :) keep it up hun! next few days should be alot easier... sometimes it is just breaking the habit! I find I can be fab all day and get to this time 8ish and I want to eat but thats a habit with me that I need to break! most of the time its psychological! anyways I wouldn't worry about what dietician says they are all programmed to say the same he he balanced diet! I remember being referred to one and she was struck dumb when she realised my diet consisted of everything she was preaching and stil not loosing weight! I think sometimes our bodys go on strike and say stuff you I have had enough of you continually dieting .... so normal ones wont work! I found this to be the case with me anyways... dieted on and off since 18 and I am 42 at weekend lmao!
and another thing to remember hun... there is going to be alot of people who will try make you falter... just dont rise to it! remember who you are doing this for :) and I am here if you need to talk :) x
 
thanks hun, means a lot. Someone is bringin in cake tomorrow to work, for her birthday, im dreadin it. Though im an all or nothin kinda girl so hopefully ill vouch for nothin. I work with health care professionals who all bring in unhealthy food! go figure! lol

what hospital you at? im an assistant practitioner at Bolton, within therapies on a stroke unit
 
as for cake. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO do not and I repeat DO NOT go any where near! it will TOTALLY undo all your last 3 days! consider your self told of just in case :) x

day 4, stacey brought the most beautiful pink cake in, i love pink, did i have a bit? no, someone bought in cookies and thorntons chocolates, did i have any? no. I still have a litre and a half of water to drink and i find it really daunting thinkin about it. Someone said to me that they think my face looks thinner since she last saw me last week! so thats a bonus, though my face is ok, its my stomach i want rid of!!

feeling more positive generally, though have had times today when i really did feel like giving up. But i wont! heres to day 4 100%, roll on day 5
 
day 5 - im feeling brighter today, less tired and less hungry and not thinkin about ood as much. Even sat next to my mum n ad eatin my favourite yorkshire puddin and i managed it, didnt feel compelled to eat it. Had only one cig today too, so hopefully weanin myself off that too. One more pint of water to go

day 5 100%

heres to day 6 and my weigh in tomorrow :)
 
day 6 - weighed in today as i cant get there tomorrow. Lost 8 1/2 lb, was hopin for more but it may be more by tomorrow, and i had a full bladder lol Not had as much water today due to bein weighed so need to get 4 pints down before the night is out. The pharmacist showed me the flapjacks and i must say they look horrid lol

day 6 100%

also just thought i would add my photos from sept 09 at 18stone 3 and then chiristmas 10 at 13stone 2. put a little bit back on since then mind, about 10lb ops

day 7 - feelin great! was on trainin with lunch supplied, i had my chicken soup while the others munched on butties fruit and crisp, and i didnt even flinch! now juat waitin for my mousse to finish chillin before i enjoy every mouthful. i seem to have an addiction to the mousses now! i feel on top of the world today, sneaky weigh in and ive lost another 1.5lb makin my first week weigh in 10.5lb! whoop whoop. only have half a litre of water to drink too. its been great

day 7 100% roll on the start of week 2 and beyond!
 
You're doing absolutely brilliant. Im on Day 4 100% and had similar struggles to you but managed to stick at it so far. It aint easy but so so worth it. I feel better already, though tired. All the best tomorrow. You'll do fantastic. Ive to weigh in on Day 6 too, Monday for me, hope i keep going like you did xx
