help with exante

Im currently on the cambridge diet, which is costing me near on £200 a month, Ive noticed that I can get a months worth of exante for half that price, and am considering switching, purely to save money. What are the exante products like? Has anyone switch, and can compare the products to cambridge? Also, if you are following the total meal replacement, what are the losses like on exante??

Hey hun i did cambridge about two years ago, and i have found the losses on Exante exactly the same, 4lb a week for me. I like exante shakes better then the cambridge ones, except i do miss the choc mint! I think the soups are nicer also, when i was on CD i only ever had the choc tetras and peanut bars. On Exante i have everything. But each to their own...... I think the price is the big factor here, but also would you stick to plan without knowing you where having to see your councellor weekly?? Why not just but a weeks worth from their website, and try before you commit. All the best x x

i answered your thread on the cambridge forum but il answer here too

i made the change a week and a half ago purely down to price, i was paying £42 to £50 a week on products and £10 a week on petrol just to get there and back
i used to live on 3 choc mint shakes a day but to get the low price i went for a shakes and bars bumper pack. i love the banana shake and the choc orange bar, i dislike the choc shake ( thou its growing on me ) and the rest i find ok, theres drinkable and for the price i will learn to love them

i have a diet coach, my ex ( bless him ) and i call him after weigh in to let him know that weeks result to keep me accountable

i switched not long ago, basically because the price for exante was much more affordable for me, the losses are estimated the same as cambridge, i did find the shakes to be more tastier on the cambridge weight plan though, but exante ones are growing on me, just wish they did the choc mint one grrrr but they dont lol. good luck if you decide to start exante, my first weeks loss on exante was 9lb so it does work :) x

Hi Dietingdon,

I can't comment on the differences between CD and Exante products as I've never been on CD.

But I will say one thing, these forums are invaluable.

I've never been able to stick to a diet for more than 2 weeks (max) in the past (usually failing after a couple of days), the support and information available here far outway's the need for a councilling session (IMO) and if it wasn't for these forums and the beautiful people on here, I would probably be tucking into something I know I shouldn't right now :D
