I was meant to go in January with the boyfriend but we split up at xmas so my sister went with her hubby instead. They loved it! Very magical apparently but you do get hassled a bit.

My OH went and she literally will not shut up about it....

HOWEVER

She went on a camel tour, where you ride a camel around the desert for five days living out of a tent and eating only what you carry with you. She did say that actually being back in the city that alot of people hassle you, try to sell you things, try to take you to dodgy back street bars and there are literally a host of kids following you everywhere.

I think she loved the country, the desert and the views but any time she mentions the city she talks negatively.

Me & my hubby went a few years back, but stayed mainly on the complex tbh. Just lounged round the pools & went for several massages/beauty treatments at the spa!!

When we did venture out we got a heck of a lot of hassle. We bought a few of the big salad/fruit bowls & the other sellers weren't that happy & let us know about it!!!

My friend said the same about the cities, especially for women, she said she wouldn't want to be there alone.
