The weight I've lost

Don't know if this will help anyone, but when I started slimming, I really wanted to feel how much I'd lost. It's all very well saying "I've lost a stone" but I wanted to see and feel this.

Therefore I now visit my local supermarket and lift potatoes!! Everytime I lose another 2 1/2kgs (approx 6lbs) I'll go and lift more. My boyfriend lifts them as well, and we can't believe just how much weight I've now lost. I find this really motivating but quite shocking as well.

Having now lost 3 stone (20kg) thats a huge amount of potatoes to lift. I can't believe I carried this around with me all the time. No wonder I got out of breath walking up the stairs.

Gah, you'll have me wondering round the house weighing bits of furniture now :wave_cry: :D

Yeah the personal trainer had me do three sets of arm exercises with a bar today. I asked him how much it weighed - really heavy. He told me it in kgs - means nothing to me - I got him to work it out in stones, and it was over 3 stone in weight. Mad stuff (I'm heading for 2 and 1/2 stone). It's no wonder my feet are shrinking not carrying the weight around with me!

My weightloss so far totals the weights of my eldest & youngest daughter

Theres no way I could carry both of them around all day!!!!

By the time I get to target it will be more than the weight of all 3 of them together which is shocking!!!!

This made me giggle - I wonder what people think when they see you lifting all those sacks of spuds lol

I think I'll try it next time I go to ASDA!

m youngest weighs 4 stone and i have lost 3 stone so far he fell asleep on my bed last night and i couldnt lift him to get him out lol
