Annya's diary

Annya

Slimming tortoise :o)
Well, I've been active on the forum for a few weeks now (and lurking a lot longer!) and my weight loss has been a bit up and down with rallies, weddings, weekends away etc.

I thought if I keep a diary on here as well as for myself at home some of the more experienced among you can perhaps give me some pointers? Even when I stay religiously on plan I don't seem to be achieiving great losses - indeed I'm lucky to lose a pound a week!

I have been doing EE up 'til now as I find it hard to use 2 HExA & HExBs most days and I also like to mix and match food rather than have purely veggie or meatie days, but I think I might try alternating between the 3 plans for a couple of weeks and see if this helps.

I am also starting the 30 day shred today. I already do at least 30-60 mins a day exercise walking a large and enthusiastic Doberman up and down the hills round about (we live in mid-Wales), but perhaps more will help speed things up a bit?

Anyway - day one: EE

HExA - 350ml skimmed milk for tea and coffee
HExB - 1 tbsp sunflower oil for Actifry roasties

Breakfast: Melon, grapes, kiwi, apple and blueberry fruit salad with a peach fat-free Activia yoghurt. 500ml cup of tea.

Lunch: Jacket spud with beans and 42g mozarella cheese (6 syns). 500ml cup of coffee.

Dinner: Roast chicken dinner with skinny rosemary and paprika roasties (see HExB) and broccoli, peas, carrots, butternut squash. 4 tbsps gravy made with juices (3 syns). 500ml cup of coffee.

Drinks: 2 x 500ml bottles of water + 4 x 500ml cups of tea/coffee

If I fancy a snack I will have more fruit salad or perhaps a banana with a Muller yoghurt.

Total syns today = 9

Hi Lynne. I see you are a dog lover too. I read your diary and it seems we have even more in common than location - we also have dogs that are sock scoffers

Lily, my Doberman, has eaten more socks than you can shake a stick at in the 3 years since we got her from rescue - she is totally incorrigable! We now make sure they are well out of her way to avoid another blocked bowel and vet bill of over £900 (thank God we are insured!).

She eats all sorts of things she shouldn't and the lady at the kennel she goes to when we are away told me last week that she had loads of corn in her poo when she was last there......... she must have managed to get the top off the hen's food bin without anyone noticing - she is just sooooo naughty  Love her to bits though - she is such a sweetie :heartpump:

Whereabouts are you? We are just west of Llandovery.
