My house is full of dead bees!! I'm so horrified and scared! What could this be about? There are a few buzzing about too, one stung DH the other day but they're mostly dead! Is my home toxic??

You might have a nest somewhere.. Get a bee person in to check it out

No need to worry, call the council in the morning and they'll either come and check it out or refer you to someone who can. Good luck x

There are different kinds of bees and their behaviour patterns are different - some swarm, some don't. But mostly they are harmless unless they are disturbed.

You do need some expert advice, and your local council is the place to start.

Could they be drones. The queen bee throws them out when there work is done and they die.

Of course your house is not toxic. Bees are very peace loving creatures and it is rare to find them in a house.

At the weekend I saw in Aldi some bee/wasp catcher thingy's, they are plastic & look like a small hive with a hole in the bottom, apparently they fly into the 'catcher' but are not able to get out. This may help in the meantime until you are able to find the nest & get rid of them completley.

The decline of bees is a serious problem in the UK and many other countries. They need to be protected at all costs - without their pollination activities, many crops will fail.
