I get e-mails from them each month or so with offers and updates. This months is quite interesting! They are up-dating their menu this month and here's what they have said:

"On 19th July we will be launching our new Lighter Options selection on our main menu – dishes low in calories but still utterly delicious! We have listened to our guests and developed a range of main courses that are 650 calories or less, as well as a range of suitable starters and desserts to complement at 300 calories or less. Dishes include a lighter portion of our classic Spaghetti Bolognese with a twist, Red French Pizza and delicious Citrus Salads. Pop in from 19th July onwards and give them a try, we really hope you enjoy them!"

Good news for those that go here!! They are only 5 mins from my flat and we go here maybe once a month or so. It will make things a little easier to stay on track hopefully!

Brilliant! I do hope a lighter portion doesn't just mean smaller though!!
I'll look out for these, we do like F&B's.

Lighter Options | Frankie and Bennys

They are now up - im unsure on them. I think I would rather have a flexi day and get a proper portion. Shame

If you try any of these, are they good worth the money?

Ooohhh, we're going today and I only popped on to see what I could find that were very low synned. There's two on that menu that I like the look of! Any idea how we would work out the syns?

U could follow the rule of 20 cals = 1 syn? Other than that I'm unsure. I don't know if slimming world has then on their site as I'm not a member.

What a rubbish veggie selection - how disappointing! I could do a chocolate pancake though ...

That would only apply for stuff without a free food allowance though like the soup. The rest would be considerably less syns.

Okay, so I've been, and I had Spaghetti Oceana, which was very nice, but a small portion, and no, I'd say it wasn't worth the money (dad paid, not me!) I did enjoy it though, just could've eaten two and I am now hungry so gonna pig out on strawberries! Still not sure how to syn it though, seeing as everything would be free on EE, just not the sauce :/

The menu looks fantastic! Even if the portions are smaller.

Its nice that another restaurant is offering a lighter option.

Horrid meal!

Sorry to be negative but I had the Frankie and Bennys steak salad on Saturday and it was truly disgusting! It was a whole steak, greasy and with fat on it
The salad consisted of 3 or 4 leaves of watercress and a tomato
I don't know why I didn't send it back but I am not very strong like that.
I am going to email them I think to say where I ate it and maybe remind them this is not what we want for a healthy meal. I felt the cook had missed the point!
