When do you see the loss?

Hi, this is my first post and I need a bit of advice. I started at SW 7 weeks ago, I have always been overweight and have tried countless times to stick with a diet and failed. Really love slimming world EE and had great success at the start. My losses:
wk1 -7.5lb
wk2 -3lb
wk3 -1lb
wk4 -7lb
wk5 -4.5lb
wk6 +.5

My weigh in day is Tuesday and I have just had a peak at the scales this morning and I am still the same as on Tuesday .
I am really pleased with my loss and initially not surprised to have had a small gain as thats quite a lot to lose in such a short time, but I really expected to see that I had lost at least 1lb by know. Finding it hard to stick to plan (although I have). Is it possible to stay the same for 2 weeks even though you have stuck to plan and use around 10 syns a day? could it be that I am snacking on fruit throughout the day - 5 pieces?

I would just like to thank all those that contribute to this brilliant site, I have been reading like mad and trying out all the recipies, made SW Quiche last night for tea and put 2 pieces in the fridge, when hubby came in from work at 22:30 tried some and was amazed that it could be 'diet food'. I am really enjoying what I am eating I just would like a small show on the scales for all my efforts :sigh:

My weight varies quite a lot. I have weeks where I am really good and it only drops towards the tail end of the week (or longer than that) so don't worry. I weigh every day (I don't like surprises) but you have to learn to ignore the mid week numbers as they are so variable.

Well done on your fabulous losses so far. Stick with it. Hugs.

If im good all week, I have a nice loss- 1-3lbs.
If I have one off day, or even a few extra vinos, im normally going to stay the same. Which is the beauty of SW. Other diets, I have just gone , 'oh well, thats that ruined, lets keep off the diet for a while till I get my MOJO back' But with SW, you have the bad day, and the next day you get back on the horse and you manage your weight.
Your losses so far have been really good. Im sure its just your body slowing a bit, getting ready for a big WHooosh of a weightloss in thenext few weeks :)

Don't worry too much Huntsu, there could be lots of reasons why you're struggling this week and tbh none of them are worth losing sleep over. As everyone says, you've done so well in a very short space of time so you deserve credit for that.

Time of the month can slow down your losses. Do you tend to eat similar foods all the time? Try mixing up your hex's and trying something different. Also try drinking more water - 2 ltrs is the recommended daily amount. (add some sugar free squash if you prefer it to plain) One of the easiest things to do is to increase your intake of speed and superspeed foods - re-read your books to see which ones you could increase. If you normally do EE then try doing the occasional red or green day. Your body can sort of get used to processing the food you eat so if you eat something different it sort of throws it a bit of guard, so to speak, lol. Your body can weigh different at different times of the day. And it has no idea what day you weigh in offically so it doesn't know that you NEED all your losses for that week to show at a certain time on a certain day - I WI on friday mornings and one week after losing 1 lb, I went into Boots and weighed myself late on friday afternoon (after I had been to the toilet ) and I weighed 2lbs less than I had that morning!!!! To say I was disappointed is an understatement but the following week I lost 4lb so it all evens itself out eventually.

And probably more importantly - don't get weighed midweek!!!! The only weight that counts is the one at class so why put yourself through the upset.
