This bread is really lovely it tastes more like real bread than the microwave bread does to me, i eat it as bread buttered with quark and marmite or fromage fraise and ham salad/egg salad or just cold meat or tuna mayo (dukan mayo) or as toast, and if i need breadcrumbs for a topping to my mince dishes or any other savoury dish i just take a couple of slices from my allowance and crumb them.
This loaf is 5 days allowance of oat bran and wheat bran.
It can be eaten on PP and PV cruise consolidation and stabilization, sorry not attack because of the wheat bran,

Dukan Diet Loaf of Bread Recipe

10 tbspn oat bran
10 tbspn wheat bran
10 tbspn skim milk powder
1 tspn baking powder
1 tspn salt
2 pkts quick fast yeast (8g per packet)
1 tbspn 0% fat plain yoghurt
4 tbspn 0%fat fromage frais/quark
3 eggs
4 or 5 tbspn warm water
Method
Use 2 bowls. In the first bowl mix the yeast, water and fromage frais or quark and give a good whisk.

Mix all the other ingredients together in a larger bowl.

Add the yeast mixture to the other ingredients and whisk well.

Pour mixture into a loaf pan, Ii use a silicone loaf pan it comes out easier and cook in a hot oven 400 F for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 F degrees and cook for a further 20 minutes.

cool then put into a suitable container and refrigerate it keeps for at least a week in the fridge, I cut mine up into 20 slices and put my 4 slice daily allowance into 5 sandwich bags in the fridge so that i can just pick up the daily bread allowance without having to get out the bread board bread knife etc every day, (lazy) couldn't wait , already sliced into this one before i thought to take a pic.

Just one problem with this recipe - the quantity of wheatbran.

We're allowed, as you know, 2 tablespoons of oatbran per day, but only 1 tablespoon of wheatbran (which is rather carby)... I'd also raise a little concern at the skimmed milk powder (read the packet...). If you're losing eating this, go for it...

But I prefer to raise the question mark flag in case people throw themselves into this vigorously then stall...

The photo looks good enough to EAT...

The wheat bran works out at 2 tablespoons a day which would be the 2 tolerated items allowed,

as for the dried skimmed milk , the amount used in the recipe works out at 60.4 g of carbs in the recipe divided by5 for the five day allowance and it is 12 g a day which is 3 g for each slice,
there are dried skimmed milk powder with lower carbs but the one i have at hand is marvel.

the person who passed this recipe on to me has lost 5 stone whilst having this bread in her diet, she is the one who told me about the dukan diet,
I think as long as you are sensible in what you eat in the tolerated items it shouldn't cause a slow down,

I'll say nothing further. My advice above stands and people can do as they please as ever.

(Remember that the diet originated in France, and the rules have changed tenfold since its origin (playing to the crowd?).)

Maybe my advice goes back to the origins of the diet but I stand by it, preferring not to pick up the pieces when you're long gone after leaving a (previously) not ok recipe here. People can do as they wish of course.

Good luck!
