A bit demotivated

Hi,

i'm in my second week now and feeling a bit demotivated. I lost 6 lbs in my first week but seem to be finding it really hard to see any loss this week so far. My weigh in day is Wednesday.

Everyone on here seems to be losing much quicker. I haven't cheated at all but I wonder if there is something you are all doing that I am not. Should I be exercising? Any tips will be gratefully received.

Hang in there, your body may have gone in to starvation mode. It will catch up eventually.

I agree if you are doing it 100% you will lose. Keep with it and drink your quota of water!xx

Thanks for the replies.

timsmom, You have had some really good losses did you do anything out of the ordinary? Do you have an active Job?

I have to admit to being a bit sedentary and wondered if I need to try to be more active, but then I read someone elses thread where they said they didn't lose if they exercised.

The more I exercise the less I lose. I'm a project worker so quite mobile but I have elderly parents, a young family and work full time so I keep busy. I just have a lot to lose - hoping for a really good one tomorrow - fingers crossed . Just stick to the programme and drink your water, you'll lose but it just may take a while to get going. Stick at it ;)

Hi,

i also weigh on a wednesday and this week im not seeing much movement either. Im a naughty daily weigher and keep seeing the same pound come off then go back on again, im definately 100% and in ketosis so im just trying to trust the diet and wait until wednesday and see what happens.

As said above, it will catch up again!

You may be an 8th day loser...I remember some of my biggest losses always used to be the day after Weigh-in...also, are you drinking all your water before WI? A litre = a kilo.

And a lot of people with massive losses in Week 1 go down to 1lb the following week or on week 3 - you might have two large-ish losses.

its common not to lose anything on week 3 hun you may just be early. in my second week i didn't lose anything for days i was scared i wouldn't lose anything. then i lost a big amount in one day and a big amount next day.
i to lose less when i exercise. also they say don't exercise in first 2 weeks.
stick with it hun it will happen.

Same here, lost a good bit of weight in the first week and then for the last 4 days there has been no change at all. The thing is that you have to keep going and the losses will come back :)
