Fish fillets help!

So I eat fish most days - all different types of fillets.
I don't eat shellfish however. I am just popping them in w/ seasoning in the oven at the moment. As a new student away from home for the first time, I am a complete beginner at cooking (2 weeks ago I learnt how the settings work on an oven!!)

Does have any really easy recipes for fish fillets? Most of the recipes I've seen require quite a lot of effort!

I'm on EE :)

Sticky Salmon with stir-fry noodles

Hi There.
Welcome to the forum.
I have this a lot.

Pete’s version of Sticky Salmon with stir-fried Noodles

(Original on Page 33 of Slimmers World July 2011 mag)

Serves 4 *Extra Easy 1

Ingredients

2 level tbsp runny honey
3 tbsp light soy sauce
Dark Soy sauce
4 Salmon Fillets
2 X150g packs of Amoy “straight to wok” egg noodles
6oz/170 runner beans
1 red, orange & green pepper deseeded and chopped
5 spring onions
¼ of a Spanish onion, sliced
12 small mushrooms, chopped

Method

Mix the honey and soy sauce in a shallow heat-proof dish. Add the salmon and turn the fish to coat it. Leave for 15 mins to marinate.

Preheat the grill to medium-high
Place the salmon still in the dish and grill for 15 mins turning it once.

Preheat a wok and spray with Fry Light, add the peas, peppers, mushrooms & onions and cook for 5-7 mins, add noodles and toss them through the veg. until warmed.

Place the salmon on to a bed of the noodle stir-fry and season with dark soy sauce and enjoy.

Serve with a salad.

sorry the picture doesn't do justice to the food, the lighting is poor!
Pete

Roast the fish with small cherry or plum tomatoes, and even more delicious, wrap the fish in some lean parma ham before cooking
