Cruise PV Eating in this hot weather

Today is a PV day, normally I am quite excited to be having vegetables but this heat makes me not want to eat at all  I am assuming it is more important to eat proteins than the vegetables, although need to get some vegetables in there too. So far today I have managed about 6 tablespoons of plain yoghurt and half a pot of cottage cheese with chives. Drinking loads needless to say.

How do others cope with the hot weather?

Am I the only one who has hot weather! Lovely thunder storms now so cooling off.

Here in Poole it has been windy most of the time so not massively hot unless you are working outdoors or lyong on the beach.

Poppy I wish I could agree with you, but it makes no difference to me whether it's hot or not, I always want to eat!
Hence the Dukan..... x

Lol Red Mich. I wondered if it was because I was drinking so much that I wasn't hungry but as soon as the storms came in so did my appetite. It has been so ridiculously hot here with no breeze at all.

I have no idea where in the world you are....but I'm in Texas..and it is HOT. All around us it is in the triple digits. That means over 100+. We are in a drought. Coupled with the heat index, we are in the 110's. Sunday a few miles north of us it hit 113. From the get go..I knew the protein and water intake in our environment could get dicey. So till we are back in the 90's again I'm doing mainly PV days only. One day a week I do PP. Dehydration is a serious issue where I live, kidneys are working overtime as it is, so no use putting more strain on them should I get dehydrated. It happens so quick. Eggs...in this heat they just don't sound appetizing. Switched from the morning Galette to a little bran bar that we make. During the day the meats/chicken/fish I eat are cold.
This has slowed the loss down..I'm in no hurry and still loosing weight.
Good Luck K
