Long shifts and staying on track...

Hi guys

I'm finding it a wee bit more difficult of late sticking to the plan...I've started working 6 days a week 8-8pm. I've always stuck to 12 points for breakfast and lunch at the rest for the evening, i like to have a big meal and a dessert in the everning. At first i was having yoghurt (1pp) and fruit for breaky, soup about 1pm (homemade 2pp) then 4 x rivita (5pp) and philly light (3pp) with cucumber about 5ish then my dinner when i get home. I'd space out fruit throughout the day. But i'm finding it increasingly hard not to give into my cravings! So much so that today id had lunch by 11am and then ended up having a packet of walkers and a wispa! Tried to cut down my dinner as much as possible to compensate.

So ive just prepared tomorrows food for during the day, just wondering what u all think...

Breaky (9am): Bread and Jam - 2xcrusts away 50/50 = 2pp, jam (low calorie) 1pp

Snack (10.30am): ww yoghurt - 1pp

Lunch part 1 (12pm): Soup (homemade 2pp) & Apple

Lunch part 2 (2pm): Ham Salad (lettuce, onion, tomato, cucumber and 2pp value ham) & Orange

Lunch part 3 (4pm): ww crackers and philly (4pp) & Banana

Snack (6pm): Grapes

So i'm still having 12pp during the day but im having smaller portions spread out more and a lot more veg. Do you think this is ok? I thought it was fine but when my other half saw how much food i was preparing he was like wtf?! lol

Any advice/comments are much appreciated. Thanks for listening to my rant!

Honestly I dont see a problem with any of that?? But I know where you're coming from completely. Sometimes my OH is like "wtf" when I tell him what I'm having to eat or whatever. But as long as we both know we're within our points then we shouldn't have to justify what we're eating. That whole menu seems quite healthy to me and you've obviously lost a lot of weight already so... ignore him lol... get on with it and see how it goes for a week anyway? Supposedly we're better off having small meals often rather than big meals less often during the day :D
 
thanks guys that makes me feel much better...ive been feeling less hungry so far today just cos ive got more small meals to have throughout the say :) I didn't have an issue with feeling hungry until i started these longer shifts so it's hard to know what will work when its outwith my norm even although ive lost over 5stone so far on the plan!!

I'll let you know how I get on.
