Hello just joined today instead of eating

Hi thought i would spend a bit of time talking about food rather than eating, i started Cambridge diet last Tuesday and seem to have lost over half a stone will get weighed tomorrow when i see consultant, I am a terrible yo-yo dieter:cry:and I am trying to shake my baby weight, my youngest is 12 lol......could do with any encouragement especially anyone doing SS on the CD. Not sure how long I will last without food.

I think I should try that.....the biscuit barrel is overflowing but I am only talking about it I am not going to open it

hi cambridge diet CD is VLCD you have shakes, soups and bars only. You have to drink lots of water and thats all you have, when you move up the programme you add little bits ie proteins, veggie.

I couldn't do it even loosing 10lb week 1 couldn't keep me going, sitting down to a watery flavourless soup at dinner time and having shakes for brekkie and lunch eerrrgggh. But I admire those who can do it. It just wasn't the diet for me.

Hi,
well done on your first week :)

im on Lipotrim which i think is like the cambridge diet, just have shakes and soup plus water, and black tea/ coffee. It works for me because when i have to start weighing and counting points i start feeling like im missing out on something plus the comments i would get for having anything others thought i shouldnt have.
As i am on shakes i can have them where i like and it takes all the guessing out of what to have etc. it wasnt easy at first but im in the swing now, and have to lost 20lb in two weeks.

i also have a pound coin jar, so i can put a pound in for every pound i lose :)

I like your diet plan Shep! Changing your lifestyle and NOT dieting. Good! That's true though. I still believe that natural way is the most effective thing to do. Run. Walk. Exercise. Water. Know the food you take. Actually I eat, 3-4 times a day, but of course, I watch the food I eat. :)
