Help with extra easy. please

Hi all, I started SW about 2 weeks ago, I had been doing Lighterlife 4 weeks,my 3rd time on it!! and since beg of year had lost 2 stones, also during this time had undergone 2 knee replacement operations!
I could not get right into LL this time so decided to change to SW as my daughter was also doing it.
I dont go to class so I've just been following the books my daughter had.
So now I come to my wee problem, I just cannot understand the extra easy plan [last time I was on SW was 10 yrs ago and it was green/red days! ]

I have been on EE plan over the last 16 days, I've lost a total of 2.5lbs [know it will be slower because of being on LL ]
I have a selection fruit & fat free yoghurt plus my Alpen bar for breakfast-- HEB milk for tea throughout day with--HEA,
either an ommlette & salad or plate of vegetables for lunch,
usually one of the recipes out of the book for main meal,
my other alpen bar in the evening.
& around 10 sins daily.

What baffles me is:
a] do i have to choose to be on an green or red EE day?
b] can i eat other free foods as snacks,
c] does my eating plan look ok?

Hoping someone may be able to help and guide me so that I understand it a bit better as I still have another 2 st to lose.
Thanks Janey. x

Hiya

Have you read this thread as I think its really good

http://www.minimins.com/slimming-wo...d-advice-new-comers-including-extra-easy.html

You should follow ie EE all day, green all day, or red all day. But you could if you wanted do different days throughout the week rather than all EE for example. Does that make sense

I've been doing EE but find the losses slower. It may just be me of course so I am going to try doing the odd red day

Don't forget with EE you should have 1/3 of your plate superfree :)

Hi Janey
I started sw this week and the last time I did the sw plan was about 15 years + ago and I was only used to the red and green days. I have however got my head around it now and although it appears to be confusing at first it really isn't when you get the hang of it...

In the front of your book you have superspeed foods that you have to use to fill up 1/3 of your plate at every mean... Then you have your free foods which are on the yellow, green and red pages! You can have as much of this food as you want within the day! If you want to pick at something whilst in the kitchen etc you can have anything from thee pages inc things such as ham, cheese, fruit etc etc...

Then the a and b choices as before on the old plans but when on the ee you can only have 1 a and 1 b from the yellow pages of choices. If on green or red then you can have 2 choices of a and b each but they have to be from the coloured pages that are appropriate.

I hope this helps x x

Thanks for your prompt reply JackieN, I'll have a look for that thread.
Think I maybe will mix the days up a bit!!

Hi mini mum, thanks for your explanation that really helps, I think i'm still in the mindset of the green/red days and all the EE info was just confusing me, my problem seems to be I was still trying to work out on EE days why I didnt have to sin eg; the rice along with chilli or the chicken in the pasta as in the old days!!!
Good luck on your journey, we'll need to keep in touch to see how we're getting on.
