I burnt tea which is crap enough but only have stuff in the house to make fajitas so now gonna have to have fajitas (I have to go out about 7.45 so can't go buy stuff to make coz I don't have time) makes me feel like crap coz I've been 100% for 3 days now and have ruined it all coz the stupid recipe was stupid (water boiled too quick burning the curry).
Was feeling so positive about wi mon but now dreading it.
On a positive note I've only had 3 syns today and I did an hour at the gym.
The gym is also depressing me because I seem to have randomly developed bad knees and cant push myself like I want to, I managed an hour but it was walking/slow jog, a bit of weights and some sit ups.
Someone help me be positive please :-(

do you have lettuce??
only i saw in an old sw mag fajjita's using a lettuce leaf for the wrap instead of a wrap.

Thank you so much, I may have to try that, there's usually some lettuce knocking about coz my parents grow it. Lol.

if its not lettuce you can use as a wrap then you can have as a salad on the side of the fajjita filling and not have the bready wrap x

Yep that's what I was going to suggest! They do that in the States - replace bread with a HUGE lettuce leaf and call it an Open Sandwich (I really need to stop watching E News!)

Re your knees, just watch that your bad knees arent a result of having pushed yourself too hard. I have been guilty of this in the past. Now im making sure i build up gradually. I really wanna get back into doing my weights but am buidling my fitness up with zumba etc first.

I tried it but didn't like it, all tasted a bit too lettucey :-( being very naughty I caved and had 2 in tortillas so means I had 24 syns today. Will have to be good and try a free day tomorrow. Going for another mild gym session tomorrow as well so hopefully will be able to salvage it.
Re my knees I've had funny knees for years, quite clicky and stuff but have never had pain before but they've been in pain for about 2 weeks now so going to go to the docs and hopefully get to the bottom of it.
Thanks for all the help guys, was having a really bad hour, don't feel better persay but feels good knowing I can a) rant on here and b) get some fab support.
Xx

Hi dreamslim
I have bad knees which limits how much I can do, (being 19stone was prob not helping!) swimming is about the only thing that didn't aggravate them, however recently I was recommended to try 'rebounding' (those mini trampolines) as they are low impact on the joints because the trampoline absorbs all the impact. You can 'walk' and 'jog' on them as well as bouncing - I've been doing it 4-5 times a week, 'walking' and 'jogging', 20 mins at a time, for the last month and my knees have been fine, plus I really feel it's toning my legs. I use handweights at the same time to try and tone my upper arms a bit. I can definitely recommend it! Reebok have some good videos on Youtube if you want to check it out.

Thanks flashHarry. I'm gonna get some knee supports and book an appointment with the doctor first but if it she recommends I don't do the 'gym' exercise then I will definitely look into the rebounder, how much are they?
It's frustrating though isn't it, I appreciate I have calmed down a lot after the rant earlier but I'm still really upset that I can't seem to do what I want to do. I've never enjoyed exercise before but for the first 4 weeks I really enjoyed the gym and for the last 2 it has been torture. hopefully a good nights sleep and another go at the gym tomorrow will cheer me up.
Thanks.

No worries, you can pick one up in Argos for £25. I then had a search on Youtube for what to do rather than by a DVD or anything.

It is frustrating, one of my knees is worse than the other and will always be dodgy as I smashed it up writing off my car about 5 years ago, but I'm hoping the other one will improve as I get lighter and it doesn't have to support all this weight.
Keep going hun, don't worry about the tortillas, it's one day in the rest of your life and if you picked yourself up and got back on plan for the last few days you know you can do it again.
