Hi F2F

That does sound about right. If you are a stone over BMI 25 you shouldn't sole source anymore. You should start working up the plans. 1 week AAM, 2 weeks 790 etc. Remember as you start the stabilisation plans you will still be losing weight. I panicked about stopping SSing too, as I still had weight to lose, but was told to move up the plans and then stay at a higher plan to lose the little extra I had.

I followed the diet and its rules to the letter and ended up below my original set goal weight:)

If you are 5'7" and you want to get to 10 stone, that would give you a BMI of 22 (and a bit) Which is fine and healthy, but you can't sole source to 10 stone as this wouldnt be good for you.

Hope that has helped a bit, you're doing really well, before you know it you'll be there:):)

Take care

I'm 5 ft 9 & my BMI 26 is 12 st 8 so yours should be lower. Maybe you should look what it says in the book & then point out the official line to her. Hope you get sorted.

To start a VLCD you have to be 1 stone over BMI 25 and at 5'7" that is 12st 6lb, however, you are already SSing so you can go down to BMI26 which as you are 5'7" is 11st 12lb. At that stage you would need to have 1 week AAM then 1 week 790 and be on 1000 cal programme at BMI25.

Everyone should be on 1000 cal programme by BMI25 so you need to introduce AAM and 790 a couple of weeks in advance of BMI25 to prepare the body to accept the different food groups.

This is not the stop of your weightloss you will continue to lose weight as you move through stabilisation onto maintenance.
