:) hi all! im linda. today i started on lipotrim having seeing how much weight my friend loss. After years of yoyo diet, constant self esteem and confidence issues,i am now finally ready to make a life change. Whats done it for me is my beautiful 3 year old asking to go swimming...i cant turn around and say no as mummy is too fat and embarrassed. nor can i continue to make excuses:cry:. i am currently 14stone 13lbs (5ft7) and want to lose 4stone 6lbs..mega weight i know. I am a massive comforter eater, when im happy, i eat. when im sad,i eat...the feel totally miserable. i had the chocolate shake for breakfast, it was surprisingly ok. and just had the chicken soup, not very nice but drinkable without wretching... any advice on what to expect or any words of inspiration are greatly welcome. xxx

You sound a bit like me... comfort eater. Lipotrim isn't the easiest diet in the world but if you stick at it you will see the weight melt away. I wish you good luck, stay focussed, and if you want to liven the chicken soup up a bit, put plenty of pepper in!

The only thing I can say is that when you've lost your weight and done the refeed, find some way of putting yourself on another 'programme'... where you weigh yourself every week and find a way of staying with a healthy eating regime.

I'm afraid I fall back into guzzling myself stupid and end up with all the weight back on. I wish I could take my own advice!

Today is my first day too. It is hard, but if you get into ketosis you will do great.

Todays the day

I have also started the lipotrim diet.
i have done it in the past. I have lost stone. Need to loss 2 stone. Im 13st.
Feeling cold. Just had the one shake and it is is 3.20pm. going to have another shake.
Things will get easier after three days. just got to get past day 1.

welcome x youve picked the best diet in the world for results that spur you on. On the "words of wisdom front"....this forum is a godsend full of lovely warmhearted people who are always here with encouragement or helpful words and really spur you on when you feel a bit low. Knowing your not alone in this journey is worth its weight in gold! xx good luck and look forward to seeing your first WI results.....they are the BEST!!!! lol x

I too am a massive binge eater. When I last did the shakes I was on them for 6 months, which I thought would've 'cured' my binge eating. Silly me!!

I really need to find something effective to deal with the binge eating, otherwise I'll be forever losing, gaining....etc!!

Any tips/ advice would be greatly appreciated to try and conquer this once and for all!!

Thank you all so much. Superb advice. My weakness is piggin out, my husband spends alot of time away with the army..so I skip meals and eat junk!! And when I am stressed I eat...infact I always eat even when I am not hungry.i am almost through day 2 and have found a love for the vanilla shakes, i will however attempt the chick soup with black pepper tomorrow!!! I get weighed next Tuesday...can't wait!!!!!
