Hello all I want to make a quiche tomorrow and as I went of the rails for 4 days I am trying to eat more super speed foods this week any ideas for recipes?

There are loads of quiche recipes in the main recipe sub-forum - try doing a search and I'm sure you'll find one that appeals to you

I will share mine...
I use eggs and fat free yghurt for the mixture.
Then I add sauteed mushrooms and onions, tomatoes, garden peas.
For the cheesey taste I use my HEB as cheese triangles. ANd sometimes an extra chopped spring onion.
And to serve it, I normally have SW chips and baked beans which are superspeed :)

Sounds lovely:D

its yummy! have it a couple times a week and use whatever super stuff is in the fridge!

Just go through your speed list and see what you fancy off it and throw it all in, thats what I do and usually put in some smoked ham or chicken with it on ee. x

ingredients
peppers, diced
onions, chopped
courgettes, diced
baby sweetcorn, sliced
asparagus, sliced lengthways
mushrooms, chopped
tomatoes, sliced
3 eggs
150g fat free natural cottage cheese
method
1.
Prepare whatever Superfree veggies take your fancy… we’ve used peppers, onions, courgettes, baby sweetcorn, asparagus, mushrooms and tomatoes. You can dry-fry them until soft or leave them raw for extra crunch.
2. Mix together the 3 eggs, 150g fat-free natural cottage cheese and some chopped parsley.
3. Lay the chopped vegetables out in an oven-proof flan dish then pour the cottage cheese mix over.
4. Pop in the oven at 190ºC/375ºF/Gas 5 for around 30 minutes, or until the quiche is set and golden brown.
Tip: Serve the quiche in wedges with Free Slimming World chips on an Extra Easy or Green day, or piles of salad - ideal for lunchboxes!

I use 4 eggs, a tub of cottage cheese, a tub of quark and a good helping of mixed herbs. Mix all this together then pour over my sauteed veggies (finely chopped onion, mushrooms, courgettes, peppers, leeks and some broccoli). Sprinkle with black pepper and top with sliced tomatoes then bake on a low/medium heat for about 30 mins. Serve with either baked beans or mixed beans in tomato sauce.

I also make individual quiches in my old yorkshire pudding tins but I line the tins with one or two slices of sandwich ham (depending on how thick the ham is). Its a great substitute for pastry. ;)

One other tip - this past week I've been eating a lot of fresh peas (out of the pods), I think I've had 1 lb bag on 4 or 5 days and today I've had my biggest loss ever, 4.5 lb so try eating peas next week. lol.

I cook a bag of frozen Broccoli and cauliflower in the microwave then chop it all up , not mushy just small pieces , then add it to the normal egg/cottage chesse mixture.I use 6 eggs to one big bag veg and it does 2 days meals then. Result superfree foods , great meal, extra benefits in the bathroom department.
