well i thought i would add a food diary as iam not going to a group so please tell me if iam doing wrong thanks

breakfast:2 tesco value frozen pork sausages unsure of syn value  with baked beans and a fried egg in fry light

lunch:slimming world chips and beans

dinner:chicken (cooked in oven with water and skin removed) with pasta chopped tomatoes and oinions.

i dont no if this is a good idea but i really cant give up sugar in my tea lol i dont like sweetners so i thought if i gave up my syns everyday and had 2 cups this would be ok but would love to no what you guys think will this be impossible in long run ???

OK well I assume you're doing Extra Easy? If so I don't see much superfree on here. Your supposed to have 1/3 of your plate full of superfree foods to control the amount of free food you eat. Maybe you could have some fruit with your breakfast, some sort of salad or fruit with your lunch and some more veggies with your tea, although the tomatoes and onions are a good start.

Similarly where are your Healthy extras? I assume you had some milk in your tea? Was it skimmed, semi skimmed or full fat? You need to count your milk in with your HEX/syns. I don't see a HEXB on there, (but I'm assuming youre doing EE).

Secondly I'd avoid eating things that you don't know the syn value of. I've just looked Tesco Value sausages up and if it's the frozen 20 pack, 50g each they're *seven syns each*, so that's ALL your syns for the day used up just on those two sausages. You can get other sausages that are very low in syns and just as yummy eg the Weight Watchers ones.

Sugar isn't as bad as it's made out to be in moderation. One level teaspoon of white sugar is one syn, so a couple of cups of tea doesn't need to break the bank if that's what you want to spend them on. It's better than the value sausages! :D

Anyway, otherwise not a bad start! What sort of stuff do you most like eating? Theres loads of recipes on here that you can use to help you plan stuff that's tasty but not to high in syns and uses up your HEXs.

Yeah, the point with the superfree is to fill your plate 1/3 full with them (not eat them *as well as* a full plate). You can eat whatever it is that you superfree on the side (eg as fruit or whatever) but make sure if you do that that your plate is only 2/3 full. The point in the superfree is to reduce your portion size of the other food.

Yeah planning it helps a lot, to make sure you know what youre having and you've got everything you need to hand so you dont have to just reach for whatever you've got available which isnlt necessarily all that healthy even if it doesnt look too bad on the face of it.

Good luck :)
