Night shift tactics!

I work in a major city hospital and night shifts can be a real strain on weight loss!
There's often little lime to eat 'food' ie; mealtime/break and staff insist on providing 'supplies' to get them through the shift. Top that with relatives gifts of sweets and chocolate, and the 6am desperate need for hot white buttered toast it's kind of obvious why I'm struggling!

I'm looking for some different suggestions for nibbles and snacks that I can have (syn free) when i'm tempted by all of these syns!

I always have stores in my work bag, tins of beans, tins of mackerel, mug shots and chopped fruit salad/pieces of fruit but its become stale. I need some new ideas!

Can you help? x

SW quiche or spanish omelette, make a huge one with tons of veggies and double your cheese allowance and you can eat half of it (either hot or cold). I don't usually snack between meals when I've had quiche for my lunch cos I have such a large portion.

As for the sweets, choccies, etc - the only thing you can do is find some willpower!!! lol. Good luck.

Another tip to try is to make one of the SW cakes to take in so you can indulge with your workmates. I made the sticky toffee cake today, its only 10 syns for the whole cake and it will give 4 big portions so only 2.5 syns each.

I know it's not sweet but last week I had sliced ham, gherkin, pickled onion and syn free chutney, not sure what to have tomorrow and Sunday, Falafels sound good.

I did try not to eat during Nights but then when other people had take aways I was always tempted also I'd be hungry in the morning and wake up about 9am needing food (having only gone to bed about 7.30am).
