Total Solution Running away from the See-Food Diet! HELP!

Hi all!

I'm new to this so please do forgive me if my blog turns out rather strange looking....

I'm Helen and a hopeless self admitted fad dieter. I have tried everything from the Cambridge Diet (which I stuck to for all of a week) to Weightwatchers (which I couldn't stick to at all, because I figured I was still eating the same as before so couldn't quite grasp the concept of losing weight)

Now, while some of you might not class me as overweight, I class myself as overweight as I have never felt as big and as unattractive as I do at the moment :( I have a family wedding coming up in August and it would be fair to say that it is pretty much social event of the year. Doesn't help the fact that every woman in my family is ridiculously beautiful!

Anyway, reasons for not sticking to previous diets... my mum is a feeder! Haha. We all have one at some point in our lives! Plus I never really felt as down in myself as I do at the moment so never really had the willpower to stick to it. After splitting with an ex and coming back home to mums cooking, the stitching in my jeans is starting to shout at me for being too overworked so I have decided that it's time to sort it out!

So this is where I turn to you (my fellow food fiends) to guide me through the Exante diet and hopefully help me stick to it as I'm feeling really positive this time around! I start the diet tomorrow and I'm going to be on shakes and a bar (I learned my lesson with the soups from the Cambridge diet so decided not to go with those again....that powdery water still makes me break out in cold sweats at night! *Shudders*)

Anyway, if you're still awake after reading my life story, I hope that I haven't bored you all too much! I would be grateful of any support <3

Happy dieting all :flirt2:

Hi Shanny!

Thank you for your supportive message! Well it's day one and my belly is rumbling but not going to give in to temptation! I have 1 meal left which is a bar and I think I might have a can of coke zero with it as I have heard that it's ok?

Ah great, whereabouts in the Midlands are you? :D How have you done on the Cambridge?

xxx

Hi yep zero coke is fine but not to much.. I live in Great Barr often pop to Walsall for clothes shopping.. I've lost 55 lbs on Cambridge diet so far, day 1 always is the hardest but you can do it.. Think about summer and pretty clothes lol.. X

Hiya Helen :D

Welcome to the fun adventure that is exante lol

How's your first day gone? xx

Hello ladies!

Thanks again for the replies. Sorry for the delay in my reply, I've been battling the lovely headaches and tiredness! I'm on day 3 now though and not cheated or anything so I should be in ketosis now (well I bloody well hope so!)

Shanny well done on your loss that's amazing and very dedicated! I bet you feel so much better in yourself! Hiya Miss G, day one was haaaaaard! It doesn't seem to be getting easier but I'm trying to stay strong!

I'm wondering whether either of you can help...I am looking to do this diet for 4 weeks as I don't have a LOAD to lose. After it I was thinking of doing the following as an example diet:

Scrambled eggs and one piece of toast for breakfast, Ham sandwich for lunch and Tuna/Chicken salad for dinner. Mixed in with 2 x zumba classes a week and 1 boxercise class. What I was wondering is if I go straight from Exante to this, do you think I'll put weight straight back on even though I'm exercising 3 times a week?

Keep up the great work ladies :) you're both doing so well!

Helen xx
