Just realised who author of 'Confessions of a Re-formed Dieter' is....

Been reading this book for a couple of days and today I had a lightbulb moment. The author is called AJ Rochester and lives in Australia and I suddenly thought I wonder if she is the same 'AJ' as in the host of Biggest Loser, Australia and guess what.......she is!! (Although apparently they replaced her in 2009 but UK airings of the show haven't got this far to my knowledge!!)

The book confirms she weighed 109 kilos at her heaviest and eventually she gets down to 69 kilos - wow!!. (although not actually read that far yet!!)

I love the American and Australian Biggest Loser shows (sorry but the British one is pants in comparison!!) but had never realised that she had had a weight problem!!

The book's not bad to read either!! Anyone else read it!! If so, bet you had realised who she was before though!!!

Yeah I liked the book - but did she not put a fair bit of weight back on? Can't remember what she did, but she got into trouble for something and was put off the show, I think.
Good book overall - she's a great sense of humour.

Claiming some form of child benefit she wasn't entitled to from what I read!! An 'honest mistake' in her words and she has paid it all back now apparently!!
She is really funny in the book but I can't relate to it being her for some reason. Guess you don't see much of her sense of humor on the show!!
